Lovely store and lovely selections, but the most outstanding aspect of shopping here is the personalized service! I've gone down several sizes since I last shopped for any kind of clothing and was 100% clueless as to my current size. Based on my "guesstimation", one of the owners pulled a single suit off the rack. It took only a few minutes to go down a size and then one size more to find the perfect fit. I tried on one other suit -- more because I felt like I should, not because of any pressure -- and realized instantly that the first one was THE one. I haven't been this excited to buy a new bathing suit in 40+ years. Are they pricey? Yeah, but I'm okay spending more for excellent, individualized attention and quality pieces than to spend less elsewhere and not look and feel the way I want to. read more

Although the store didn't have something particular I was seeking out (bodysuit extenders), there were 2 ladies there and they were very friendly, they also let me know they do bra fittings and keep the bras in the back, and let them know if I needed anything else. They then let me browse without being pushy for a sale (I love that perfect balance of great customer service without someone hovering over you - that will make me walk out so fast lol I can't concentrate if someone is breathing down my neck). I really only needed the one thing so I didn't actually buy anything but wanted to see what they carried. Mostly what I saw were undergarments, lounge wear, PJs/robes, some bathing suits. Their panties were super cute. I saw an Ugg brand lounge outfit that was so cute and comfy looking. Their robes can be soft and warm and cozy or silky and stylish! I was overdue for a bra fitting, since it's been a couple of years since my last one, and I had a kid in the meantime. My husband generously gave me a gift certificate for Lace & Day, so I made myself an appointment on their easy-to-use online scheduling system, and then showed up. If you're new to Lace & Day, or thinking of getting someone a gift certificate to use at the store, be aware that one bra alone will probably be in the $100-$150 price range. I already wore a bra brand that Lace & Day carries, Marie Jo, so I wasn't surprised by the prices, but sticker shock is totally understandable. The staff is friendly, and the fitter I worked with was knowledgeable and efficient. I am not that secure about my body, especially when topless in front of a person I only met a few minutes ago, but the awkwardness was minimal. She picked out a good variety of bras for me to try, both in the Marie Jo brand I'm familiar with and in other brands. I felt like she was honest with her opinions, as she would say something if a particular bra didn't seem to suit me as well as some of the other ones I'd put on, and I appreciated that feedback. I had to put in a special order for two bras because the store didn't have on hand the color I wanted in my size. I think I'm a fairly average size, and I think nude is a common color, so I was a little surprised that they weren't in stock, but it wasn't that big of a deal. I was able to take home some of the bras I liked same day, and then got a call two weeks later once the special order arrived, and I picked them up from the store again. My new bras feel great, and even if no one else notices, I think my shirts look better on me when I'm wearing these new bras compared to my old ones. I found this place by looking at reviews online. When I walked in, I asked to speak with someone with patience and experience. Holly (part owner) was who helped me. She brought me in the dressing room, asked to see what I was currently wearing, scooted out and (without measuring me) returned with a bra that she put on me and stepped away from the mirror that I was looking in. This sounds dramatic but it's the truth. I started to cry. Never ever ever have I felt so comfortable in a bra that actually fits me to perfection! No pain from the bones/supports and no padding either! I truly loved the fit. I bought 2 bras that day and returned a couple of days later and met Emily (other sister and part owner) to buy a strapless bra (fits like a glove and doesn't feel like It's falling or slipping down) and a shaper. It wasn't inexpensive by any means but the $400 plus that I spent is worth all the expertise advice, great shopping experience, quality product and fitting that I received! This is essentially a luxury bra shop. The first floor is open and full of light, carrying panties, shapewear, robes, and pajamas, as well as men's underwear which can be browsed at leisure. All things bra take place upstairs, where you are lead to a fitting room and everything is brought to you based on what you are looking for. The fitters give you individualized attention experience and it's what I imagine it might be like for celebrities with a fitter there to expertly put your boobs in the right spot for every bra. My particular fitter had found a perfect fit with the very first bra she brought me, which stunned me as I didn't think I was the easiest person to fit. Overall I was brought me 10-12 options, all very pretty and almost all of them fitting very well once my fitter did her magical boob adjustment. I believe all of the brands I tried on were either French or Belgian, which were beautifully constructed, and one that even uses a patented technique. I can't say their exact size range but the fitter and I were discussing sizes such as 30F without batting an eyelash. My main reason for giving a three star is that I had heart palpitations when I looked at the price of the bras, all of which ranged from $100-$200, which is double what I expected to pay. If I have a monetary windfall or really want to treat myself, by all means I will go and buy one of those bras (and then never want to wear a shirt), but for the everyday it is beyond me. Lace & Day is definitely worth while if you are seeking more of a high end experience and are looking for lingerie you will feel unquestionably amazing in, knowing it is both beautiful and a perfect fit. read more

I've been buying my bras from Lace & Day for a few years now. These ladies are absolutely incredible. If your not shopping here you are really missing out. For years I struggled to find bras. To be honest I absolutely dreaded shopping for them. I'm a 36 F so all you ladies with big boobs understand how awful it is to find bras and usually can only get one color and it's the ugliest looking bra. Once I found Lace & Day they made the entire experience enjoyable and for the first time in my life I truly enjoy wearing my bras. Now I look forward to my next new bra. I had been hearing abut Lace & Day on the radio for a while so I found myself in downtown buffalo with a little time and decided to finally give this place a try. This is a beautiful high-end lingerie and sleepwear shop. Expect to spend a pretty penny on these items, but I say it is completely worth it based on the personal attention you're given to find your perfect item and the quality of those items. The first floor is full of underpants, pajamas, lingerie and robes. All the bra fittings are done upstairs. When you visit lace and day, expect to speak to one of the owners at length about what you are looking for. They have incredible product knowledge about how every single item so you'll know exactly what you are getting yourself into before anything is purchased. The thing I really loved is that they actually listened to everything I had to say even though what I wanted was not normally what they recommended. So, you'll head upstairs a s they bring you a bunch if different bras and tell you what is fitting well and how you can tell if they are not on correctly and how to take care of them. I love this store. Everyone in there is so fantastic and they build a profile for you of your favorite brands, styles and colors so when you go in you get amazing personalized treatment. Yes, these are not cheap, but the attention you receive and the quality of the bras and panties are worth it. I can't say enough about how amazing Lace & Day is! I have had two experiences with Lace & Day and their employees, both outstanding! I received a gift card to buy a new bra from my boyfriend after months of only having one, beat up Victoria Secret's bra. I was very nervous my first time but Holly and Emily made me super comfortable with myself and what I was looking for in a bra. After finding a bra and trying it for a few weeks, I realized I wasn't 100% comfortable in it. I went back today and was able to meet with Angela, who was AMAZING, and found the perfect bra for me.
