I want to let everyone know about my experience with Tammy Robertson of Maid to Please so you can make your own decisions on whether to use her on not. Deep Clean is not top to bottom. If she can't reach it, it won't be dusted. And much of it swiped with a duster not moving items. Grime and dust bunnies left by baseboards. She said she cleaned my baseboards, but I can swipe a finger that proves otherwise. Dirt and dust bunnies left under chairs and couch. Doesn't move items to clean on kitchen and bath countertops. Kitchen light fixtures still had dust and cobwebs.
Text left later that evening saying thanks for biz and willing to come back to fix anything. I responded that it was a good clean but was disappointed that it wasn't a deep clean. She never responded. Kept waiting and finally reached out Tuesday morning since I've had other stuff I've been playing catch up on. The clean was on a Wed and needed it done for a party I was preparing for on Sat. She's come up with lots of excuses including that I didn't keep reaching out to her and I said she couldn't come back. What I texted was "My problem is I needed all of this done yesterday because today I am mostly gone and that I have my handful of piles to still deal with and then I'm dragging out all the memorabilia to get that setup and the rest of the party stuff done." Not once did I say she couldn't come. Not once did she offer options. She now says too late. She won't do anything.
And I only want the stuff she didn't do done. Not a freebie to my house. Or she should reimburse me the difference between her okay regular clean versus the deep clean I paid for. She came by herself since her regular helper had car issues and her daughter which was the backup had Covid. Got here at 11 and left before my kids got home to run and pick up stuff and get dinner to her daughter as she was complaining about doing and only because the boyfriend's mother had taken stuff to her that she felt obligated. I was priced for my square footage. She told me upon arriving that my house seemed fine to clean, but now on texts is saying that it was too dirty???? Which BTW wasn't a disaster. Just needed a good deep clean. She was adamant about not fixing it since days have passed and made excuses on why she didn't follow up with me.
I typically only leave reviews for exceedingly excellent service or product (4-5 stars) or very poor service/product since I rely heavily on reviews. Maybe Tammy was having a bad day. But that doesn't excuse her lack of response and commitment to a job well done especially for the price she charged. This is definitely not a pay more for better quality.
I have not received any further communication or an answer to reimburse me for the difference. read more
