Yesterday, Alison came to our home for the first time, replacing our regular cleaner who had moved away. She had been well briefed about our home and did a thorough job. She shows initiative and goes the extra mile to make sure everything is done to high standards. She is cheerful, and a very hard worker. We would be delighted to have her back again. You would think that paying over $1,200 to have your house cleaned would actually get your house clean, right? Well, for us, it only paid for half of the house to be somewhat cleaned. Now, they want us to pay more to finish the job. No thank you! We paid less than half of this for our similar sized house (with the same number of animals living in it,) to be cleaned in Derry - just 40 miles away. Very disappointed in their service and sad that we will not be hiring them for regular cleaning. Now we need to find another place to finish the job and to hire for regular cleaning going forward. read more

Do you like paying for services NOT rendered? Well then this is the company for you! Upon returning home from vacation, I realized the maid was scheduled to come. My house was still clean (since I had been gone and I had personally cleaned it prior) and money was a little tight bc of our vacation. I called to see if I could cancel for the day. Was told they would look into it and call me back. I never received a call back and the maid never came. The next thing I know, I'm charged nearly the full price for the cleaning. When I called to inquire as to why, was told this is their cancelation fee. I was not informed of this when I asked about canceling. Had they told me, I certainly would've allowed the maid to come anyway to avoid paying for services I didn't receive. When I asked for a refund, I was told that emails are sent which identify the cancelation fee. I don't know about you guys, but if I had time to read the thousands of emails I receive from every company I work with, I wouldn't need to hire a maid! I have 2 children, I work full time as a therapist, and I'm completing a full-time psychology doctorate program. I simply can't read every email that comes in. It should be a company policy to verbally inform clients of the fee when they ask about canceling. I was not told a single thing, except that they would look into it and call back (which never happened). But they didn't hesitate to swipe my card anyway, without my consent. In an effort to compromise and salvage the relationship, I even suggested applying the fee to a future cleaning, but was told they would not. I had to cancel one previous time and there was no fee, nor was I informed of a potential future fee, which deceived me into believing things would be ok. Clear communication would've gone a long way. BE WARNED - If you have a concern, they will not try to make it right. They would rather lose your business than admit to bad communication and flawed company policies. Of note, they also recently increased their cleaning fee by 33% which is a staggering markup. Please take my advice, it's NOT worth it. There are more economical services with much better customer service out there. Don't pick this one. Shannon provided above and beyond customer service while cleaning today. We were having trouble connecting a roll up window blind that had been removed for repair. Without asking, Shannon looked at it and figured out the issue. She had it installed good as new which was such a huge help to us. First 2 cleanings were fine but today 2 girls showed up and did not even half a house cleaning and left and an apology note and to contact office. When I did the owner said they had an unexpected cleaning for a wedding etc but they never let me know that and when I expressed my disappointment because I never heard of a company leaving a home after not finishing to go to another one the owner hung up on me. My experience: I spoke to someone named Tracy. We discussed the house and that I would provide the cleaning products. I'm sure theirs were fine. I don't know what they use but I'm a seventh generation fan and I know they are safe. Now my house is immaculate. I'm at home and I'm a constant cleaner in my home.. I have OCD. Like real OCD. I wanted to start with a once a month to see if I liked them. I had a bi weekly cleaner who I loved but she doesn't clean anymore. "Tracy" quoted me 3 different prices which I though was absurd and shady. "The quote for your home cleaning on a weekly basis would be $135.00 each visit, $150.00 if you prefer biweekly services or $180.00 if you'd rather have us coming on a monthly basis (which runs on a 4 week schedule). " That's utterly absurd. When I questioned her about it, she said it was due to "f we clean a home on a weekly basis versus a biweekly or monthly basis, the biweekly and monthly homes will take longer, as the dust and dirt on the surfaces build up for longer periods of time. This accounts for the difference in price. " I've been cleaning since I was a teenager. In fact, in my teens and early 20's when I was going to high school and college, I cleaned homes. I can tell you for a fact that is FALSE. It doesn't take any longer. And who only cleans their house once a month unless their is a medical emergency or they are away on vacation? I had both scenarios where I went over seas for a month and I was hospitalized and the house didn't get cleaned for several weeks. It didn't take me any longer to clean it. I'm cleaning my house daily. The floors themselves get cleaned multiple times a day and you aren't allowed to wear shoes in my house. You have to take your shoes off on "the magic carpet" as you enter the house! Remember I have OCD. The time it takes to dust a table or clean the floor isn't any different in time whether there is 1 day or 1 month. This is a tactic to get more money because in cleaning, most people either want monthly or bi weekly and the cleaners can get more money this way. It's a bad business practice. It's shady.
