Great office with Dr Maher as she is very thorough and comprehensive with a touch of compassion. Office staff friendly and supportive.

Absolutely love Venus! We've been going to see Venus for a couple years now and couldn't be happier or feel any better about the care she provides! Venus is extremely professional and always has a wonderful smile on her face followed by the most gracious, positive attitude. So grateful to have Venus as our chiropractor. If you are searching for a chiropractor who will thoroughly take care of all your chiropractic needs, Venus is the one for you! Thank you for everything Venus! You are amazing! Gianna read more

My daughter started to suffer from pretty severe back issues. After 4 trips to the ER, with no ideas from the docs, I found Dr Maher on Yelp. The office is near where she goes to college. We couldn't be happier with the quality of treatment , kindness of everyone at the office and Dr Maher's understanding, listening, treatment and support of a 19 year olds life. Such a blessing to find someone so genuinely caring. read more

When Dr Venus walked into the treatment room today, I greeted her enthusiastically, "You are a Miracle Worker!". Flash back to 2 days before when Sherri (she runs the office) squeezed me in after I tripped and fell on a sidewalk. I was in pain from my neck to my hip. She adjusted every point of contact including my knees and wrists. When I woke the next morning, I felt so much better I asked out loud "What happened to the pain?" I'm in my 70's. Venus is the best chiropractor I've ever seen. read more

Very caring physician. She explains everything. My back showed an extreme improvement in 2 treatments. I'm still seeing her for 10 treatments. Personalized treatment not just a number. read more

Dr. Maher was our last stop for treating my daughter who has chronic pain. We've done acupuncture, acupressure, massage, shin jin jyutsu...you name it. We've also tried other chiropractors. Dr. Maher was recommended to us by someone who also has chronic pain. Dr. Maher's treatments allow my daughter to participate more fully in her own life. Additionally, I have since become a client for back, neck, and headaches, as well as my sister-in-law (for post-polio syndrome). I should mention that I had tried chiropractic before and did not have a good experience with it. I'm so glad I tried it again with Dr. Maher. I can't even remember the last time I had a headache and the work she's done on my back and neck has been great. She has helped us all with our levels of pain, and we've all cut down on having to rely on pain medications. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Maher since 2008. I have Arthritis and in the last two years have also been diagnosed with fibromyalgia as a result I require some pretty specialized treatment when in a flare up and she is absolutely awesome. Her energy work and ability to provide adjustments even during the worst flare ups have keep me moving and functional. SHE SAVED ME THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in medical expenses after I fell in the shower and injured my pelvis. For over a year the pelvic pain kept getting worse to the point I was nearly unable to walk. I had been shuffled around from one specialist to another and undergone a series of tests. I went to see Dr. Maher for a back issue and told her when I been going through, she said I think I know the problem. Sure enough, she adjusted the pubic symphysis and the relief was instantaneous. After a few more adjustments it was completely better and hasn't bothered me since. She has a caring and loving spirit and completely dedicated to her patients. She is acutely aware of the limitations arthritis and fibromyalgia causes and does excellent energy work. I highly recommend her and her office staff who are also caring and dedicated professionals. read more

Venus is not only a great chiropractor, but an amazing person in general. I have been seeing her for about 5 years now, and no other chiropractor I saw before that even comes close to comparing. She has worked with me through numerous sports injuries and a pretty bad car accident. Every time I see her, I feel much better almost instantly. And not due solely to the adjustment, her presence is always uplifting as well. I have referred my family and friends to Dr. Maher, and will continue to do so! read more

Dr Maher knows enough ASL to make you very comfortable! I'm very hard of hearing and ASL helps so much!

The most gentle amazing chiropractor. The customer service and one on one she has with clients is unmatched. The ladies at the front are fantastic and I love seeing their smiling faces each visit. Dr. Maher makes me feel so welcome and comfortable. After living my entire adult life in pain I had not been living my life to the fullest. I reached out to Dr Maher after seeing a flyer for Doctors with a heart, not only did she take great care of me, but she listened and understood the pain I was in. I had just about given up on the thought that I'd ever feel better. The second she touched my spine she could feel the exact spot I was feeling unbearable pain, she could tell I was experiencing headaches. I felt so incredibly validated. I can now honestly say I recommend her to all my friends in family. I rarely have the severe neck and back pain I once felt constantly on a daily basis. My quality of life has greatly improved, I will never not be adjusted for the rest of my life. My boyfriend and I have now noticed a visual difference in my spine, my upper spine right below my neck is now NOT protruding as it was when I first sought treatment. Thank you so much for everything you are such a blessing to everyone you come in contact with!! read more

My wife sees Dr. Maher and wanted me to share her experience. What a blessing it was finding Dr. Venus. I suffered for over one year with constant debilitating TMJ jaw, face, & neck pain. I went to medical specialists one after another and against the advice of my medical doctor finally sought chiropractic care. I found Dr. Venus Maher and learned she specialized in cranial work and had experience treating TMJ. From our first meeting, she took the time to really understand my issues, clearly explained the diagnostic and treatment process and set about trying to gently "fix" the issue. She explained that she would not continue treatments unless I felt things were getting better. Oh, My, Goodness... within only a few weeks I began to really get better. It took some time but eventually I was pain free. My jaw pain is gone and even headaches and back-pains I've always had are better now. Everyone comments on how improved I look now that I am no longer struggling with daily pain. The only bad thing is that I did not seek-out and find Dr. Venus sooner. It worked for me and I can't recommend Dr. Venus strongly enough. read more

This review is beyond overdue. But because I've needed to see Dr. Maher again for the first time in several years, I definitely wanted to write this. She is incredible. She understands your body and has given me instant relief from multiple issues that have come up over the past couple months. I feel like a new person every time I leave her office. Highly recommended for 10+ years!! read more

Great chiropractor and wonderful staff. Have been coming here for over ten years. Dr. Maher is the most wonderful lady and always gives you the attention your back needs. The staff is always helpful and cheerful. To top it off they do doctors with a heart day where they offer free services to help out. read more

I can't say enough for the work Dr. Maher has done for me. I am in good shape, but tend to over do it some times, and as Dr.Maher has told me, I tend to minimize my pain levels. My relief for back stress due to over exertion is handled with care and deft hands. Recently after being rear ended by another car she restored my neck to full mobility. Dr. Maher continually praises me for the work I am doing to maintain my health, and gets me back in line when I need it. Thank you Dr.! read more

I had been in a lot of pain for quite some time and decided it was time for some TLC. After looking at several reviews, I decided that Dr Maher was perfect for me. What a wonderful first experience!! She took her time getting to know me and taking a full history of my health. After we settled on a care plan I had my first adjustment and I can't believe I feel better already. My sciatica nerve was making me feel pain all the way down my leg and just one adjustment helped. I scheduled ten more visits and feel so blessed to have found such a wonderful and caring doctor. read more

Whenever I have gotten a treatment from Dr. Venus Maher, it didn't matter whether I had a sore back, neck, knee, wrist, ankle or toe! She knew how to adjust any bone that needed help. Many times I have seen her after too much exercise, or work and she has helped me every time. Once I had a bone out in my foot and could barely walk. After her adjustment I walked out pain free. She is highly trained and compassionate and uses just the right amount of pressure (not too much!) to get the results quickly and comfortably. She really cares, and I believe that to be a factor that helps me heal better and stay healthy more easily. read more

I have heard about Dr. Maher for years now, but haven't been in to see her because of having had bad experiences with another chiropractor. I had chiropractic adjustments in Rohnert Park that were traumatic and the Dr. was a super hard-seller. But Dr. Maher was informative, experienced and super gentle. She works to help heal and helps you to understand what she is doing and why. I'm really exited to have found her, and would refer her anytime! read more

I know most people see a chiropractor when their back is in pain. I take my 2-year old daughter to Dr. Maher because she was getting ear infections and I didn't want to give her antibiotics anymore. I had found a good pediatric chiropractor in San Ramon, but when we moved up to Cotati, I had to find someone up here. I am so happy I found Dr. Maher. She is AMAZING with kids. My daughter is so relaxed when Dr. Maher adjusts her. We have seen her for a few months now. She is kind, patient, gentile and most importantly, my daughter is healthy with NO EAR INFECTIONS! I highly recommend her for any parents out there who want to stop or prevent ear infections for their little ones. read more

I've just had my first adjustment with Dr. Maher and I have never felt more welcome at an office as hers. Her warm and helpful staff welcomed me and truly cared why I came in to see Dr. Maher. There was very little wait to be seen by the doctor. She explained what she was going to be doing so I felt very comfortable. The care and finess she used when adjusting delivered a pain free adjustment, and I will definately be back to see her on friday. Dr. Venus Maher is as good as it gets when it comes to chiropractic. read more

There is no better chiropractor than Dr. Venus Maher. I have seen her for over 20 years because of my chronic health issues. She is the reason I'm still able to work a 40 hour work week. I have never known a doctor that loves her work as much as she does and she is truly an empathetic and caring person and is a gentle and very effective chiropractor. Do yourself a favor and try her cranial work! I can actually see clearer and brighter after my appointments. It's amazing. I don't know what I would do without her care. read more
