Met the candle creator Elaina and learned about her interesting story with how she got started. So many lovely scented candles to choose from with adorable vessels that'll go so well with any home decor. My personal favorites are - Dry Gin Botanicals, Grapefruit Ginger and current seasonal Lavender Amyris and Orange Blossoms are amazing too. She will come out with fall scent soon within the next month and I can't wait to see what the new scents are. She does local pick up at her studio or you can always catch her at the Belleview Farmers Market, she also does other pop-up markets too so be on the look out for her "floating shop" (that's what I call the farmers market vendors). The candles burns for a long time and the light, soft scent does stick around for a while after candle burn, I'm still finishing up my first Spero with Dry Gin Botanicals and can't wait to plant some wildflowers in it. Yes, all Concrete Poppy candle products come with a small vial of wildflower seeds so you can use the vessel to plant adorable flowers... if you don't want to do that, you could also plant the seeds in the garden to help the bees. In the "olden days" Vass insisted even the shipping labels be placed deliberately on packages with care (squarely and centered) There was never half-a**ing anything. Their prices have always been competitive and the quality of service has kept their loyal customers. Though I'm 48 now and wore my body out a bit over the 12 years (I can feel it now yet I still run circles around anyone I work with) I would go back in a heartbeat to work for this family oriented business and be part of something really big again.
