BTM (before the move) they had a wide range of price points, styles and types of merchandise. You could get everything from books to soap to furniture. Now it's basically one style repeated in different variations. Plus the staff is terrible, I came in with my mother to look at floor coverings and no one greeted us or spoke to us as we struggled to flip carpets on our own - and that was typical of every time I've been in. So disappointed and all I can assume is that they must be doing gang busters on the phone and find the walk-in traffic annoying. I miss the type of business this used to be...does Chico really need this?

What a nice antique store. And big with an upstairs and a back building! One thing I was looking…read morefor was sheet music for Bookguy and they had some, but it was inaccessible at the time I was there. I saw lots of beautiful, nicely priced furniture, costume jewelry cases, vintage clothing, soaps, chalk paint, and vintage household goods such as dishes and bakeware. We only spent an hour looking around but could easily have taken a couple of hours or more. Since anything I bought would have to be packed in a suitcase or carry on, I decided there wasn't anything I couldn't live without at that time. If you're ever in Chico CA, this is a great stop for looking at antiques.

We waited in the car while my mom spent a good amount on some swags that are hard to find- we didn't feel welcome at all. We won't be back, which is too bad. They also have these cool display tables that have similar products grouped together. The "robot table" is a delight. Vintage Hen is also part of Little Red Hen, which I'm sure some of you have seen around town, so it's for a good cause. They also sell their stuff online through an Etsy store. This place has become one of my favorite downtown spots.

I am very disappointed that I cannot repair furniture that was way over priced even though they sold us a warranty:-(. I also had a $300 credit for pillows I returned that seemed to disappear. Overall, I would like these issues resolved but they haven't been able to do it which led me to 2 stars. For an upscale furniture store, I would expect that they could resolve these issues. No we didn't "yell at the service man". He actually told us that why we wrote in the claim is not what he was coming to take a picture of. All of my children were present when he was there and he just kept telling my son..."things are going to get weirder?" Not sure what he was referring to. There is no reason why the furniture shouldn't be replaced. Yes, my ex husband left fish tanks on pieces that were ruined and beer bottles which caused water damage. All of those things were to be covered in your policy. Like I said, Ana and Tia were lovely to work with but the furniture we would still like repaired as it's under a warranty you sold us. I can share with you the entire conversation with the repair man as we recorded it. He was very strange and we still stayed respectful. In no way would we ever yell at a repair man. We had damage to the cushion on the couch and he said he was there to take a picture of the back of it! Lucky for us Guardsman paid it in full. Regarding the $300 credit, my daughter was excited to buy something for her room and it disappeared! One week they said it was there as we returned pillows and the next week it was gone. Nothing was purchase with the $300 but again we don't want to argue. It would be nice if you repaired the furniture as you seemed to do before my husband moved out but after I left him, nothing got fixed. Oh well, you are the owner and you have the right to run things as you wish. Have a lovely rest of your weekend!!!
