It's genuinely astonishing that after 42 years in business, this is the level of professionalism and maturity displayed -- both in workmanship and in communication. I truly hope you keep your original response public, because it perfectly illustrates exactly what I and others have had to deal with. Rather than taking accountability, your reply is defensive, condescending, and riddled with petty digs -- including one directed at my girlfriend, which is incredibly unprofessional and unnecessary. You speak as though you're above your customers, yet your response shows the opposite: a lack of ownership, a lack of basic courtesy, and an apparent inability to address valid concerns without resorting to belittlement. To clarify a few things: First, regarding the bumper damage, I actually contacted AAA well before your response was posted and apologized for initially assuming the damage happened at your shop. I've attached proof of that conversation to show that I took responsibility for the misunderstanding -- something your response could stand to learn from. I asked AAA for the before photos of my truck because the after photos -- the ones taken at your shop -- did not match what I saw in person. Even the AAA agent reviewing the photos agreed the damage was not clearly visible in the second image. So while I admitted my mistake, your response takes a moment for grandstanding rather than simply acknowledging the confusion and moving on. As for the state of my truck -- residue left by your "highly trained technicians," mixed-up keys, and receiving the wrong invoice -- you dismiss it all with excuses. A truly professional business would acknowledge the oversight, apologize, and ensure it doesn't happen again. Instead, your response just reinforces the lack of accountability I experienced in person. Regarding the fuel: you claim the $20 in gas was necessary to flush the system, yet 5+ gallons for that task seems questionable without further detail. You also mention recalibrating the onboard computers -- but system recalibration is generally necessary only when components like new injectors are installed. Since that wasn't disclosed, I have every right to question what was actually done. Ultimately, I'm relieved I'll never have to return to this shop. Although the co-owner, the son of the owner, had told he wouldn't e able to look at it that day, he did AND... he resolved what I was expecting to be an alternator replacement in 15 minutes. I was delighted that he charged me NOTHING due to the simple nature of the issue and I have him $20 for his time. He could have told me all kinds of problems that my car had and I probably would have believed him. Instead he showed me honesty and integrity, two qualities I greatly value in any service-focused business, especially in an auto mechanic shop. BRAVO to this business...my new go-to mechanic!

The former owner apparently did not know how to drive a manual transmission properly, which ruined the clutch plate, etc. Rodolfo and the guys at Old Dixie gave my transmission new life, by replacing the clutch plates, slave and master cylinder. My car now has unbelievable torque I have never experienced before. Now... I have to become accustomed to this clutch all over again, because it is 100% brand new. Thanks guys! You ROCK!!!

Back then when Mario was working there, this place was honest, professional, and treated people with RESPECT. Now, Xtreme is a shop I would NEVER recommend to anyone ever again. Anibal Pilier who seems to be running it now is rude, PURPOSELY DISHONEST, insulting, and has no regard for the customers that have been loyal to this place for years. I brought my car in twice this year. Both times, I was LIED to, told parts were checked and/or fixed when they were not! My car sat on their lot for nearly two weeks before it was even looked at. UNACCEPTABLE. Anibal refused to admit the problem he had lied about months ago and told me was fine was the thing that needed to be fixed. Anibal avoids responsibility when asked direct questions about the work that WAS NOT done. If you want to be lied to constantly, taken advantage of by a narcissist, and wind up with your car not starting again right after you just had the problem supposedly "fixed" then go to Xtreme. I found KingKoupe on FB and decided to message them after reading all the positive reviews. They…read moreresponded very quickly. I told them I had a coolant leak, and we scheduled an appointment. Their diagnostic inspection showed the entire coolant line/system/water pump needed to be replaced on my 2001 740i Sport. They explained everything in detail that needed to be done, and even showed me where the leaks where coming from. The quote I was given was more then fair...in fact, I was later told the hours put into the job far exceeded the hours quoted (four fold!). I was still given the original quote. The entire team is beyond TOP NOTCH! They also replaced my valve cover gaskets because they were in pretty bad shape, and they only charged me for the parts. Thank you, thank you! Trust me when I say...Angel is the BMW Master Tech you're looking for...he will take excellent care of your bimmer...and KingKoupe will not gouge you senseless like the dealer will. They honestly went above & beyond...and as an added bonus, they posted photos & video footage of their excellent work on Instagram. The waiting area is a clean and comfortable lounge with entertainment. The cost of the diagnostic inspection was discounted from the quote...and their exceptional work is back by a two year warranty. KingKoupe is the only place I will bring my beloved E38 from now on. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who truly cares about their BMW.

We have Maxcare with Fidelity underwriting. We only have a $500 deductible that should have been $450 by going to a repair pal. We went and were given an estimate of $752.39 in which we called CarMax and they told us that the cost KingKoupe is trying to charge us for labor doesn't match with pro demand nor does it match with what was sent in. He unwillingly called fidelity maxcare again in which they told him they will cover and we should only be charged 450. The price then went for us to pay $647. We stated we wanted to make it home and that we were told to report if we were charged more as this is against repair pal and we should not be paying more than a $450 deductible. The car was done, test driven, and sitting in the back lot by 1320pm. We asked, why we couldn't pay to leave and were told they had issues with CarMax and couldn't let us leave until payment was made by CarMax. We have a one year old with us. We arrived at 10am 9/25/26. Then I said I would call the police as I would like to pay to leave and why be under contract with CarMax if they aren't honoring service. $198 difference. All the invoices are here. They were only changed because we kept calling Max Care. All items are the same price so it shows we were being scammed in the final pricing. This is the final invoice to MaxCare not a preliminary. No excuses there are individuals who can be preyed on with this type of dishonesty.
