They took it again for no charge this time, fixed the second stitch that I originally asked for, but the shirt is still very wrinkled. 1 star I brought in a vintage 1980s Pendleton tartan skirt. The receipt issued by this shop describes it as a pleated skirt. The skirt has an embroidered care label under the waistband that reads DRY CLEAN. The pleats are sewn in place from waist to hip and had been knife sharp for the decades my mother and then I owned and cared for this garment. I received it back with the pleats aggressively pressed out. The tartan is buckled and the wool warped in several places that will not lay flat despite attempts at restoration. When I returned to the shop the same day, before leaving the parking lot, I was asked if the skirt had pleats when I brought it in -- the receipt answers that question. I was then offered a repair at $2.00 per pleat, approximately $80-100, to correct damage caused by this shop. I was also told that I should have said at the time of leaving the garment that there were special instructions. I recommend photo documentation of your garments thoroughly before leaving them here. read more

Came here to get my suit jacket dry-cleaned. I saw that they have a check-in offer of $10 off, but this can only be used if you're spending above $30. Dry-cleaning one jacket cost about $12. Friendly customer service and the process was very convenient and easy. I dropped my jacket off perhaps around 5 min before they close and they told me that it would take about 4 working days (I was in no rush). About 2 days later, I got a text message saying that it's ready for pick up! Awesome! I love that they use technology to notify customers when their stuff is ready. read more

I have used Magic Touch Cleaners twice in the last year for wedding-related items. First, I had them clean a 50-year old veil which was my mother-in-law's. As the veil was made of lace and was a bit fragile, I was apprehensive, but they did get a great job. After the wedding, I had them preserve my wedding dress which included a deep cleaning as well as having it boxed. The train required some work as I did a lot of walking over some dirty terrain the day of the wedding. The turnaround was very reasonable, less than a month, and I received some progress updates along the way including pictures of the dress after it'd been cleaned and before it was boxed. The box the dress is stored in is also nice. I've also used Magic Touch prior to this for regular dry cleaning and have not had any issues--I'd use them again and definitely recommend them. read more

The women working the front counter is hostile, offensive and nasty and I refuse to provide Magic Touch anymore of my business. I have been treated poorly by her before and was apologized to by the manager. I updated my review and returned only to come across her today. Here comment: "I remember you. I should refuse you service". I said: "And I remember you." I told her she should do it if she feels that way and she said "Ok". You can come get your clothes when my manager is here." That is it for me and Magic Touch. I refuse to support a business that allows this type of behavior from their staff to customers who have been going to their shop for more than 20 years. I was traveling for my sister's wedding and her dress got stained 2 night before her wedding at semi- rehearsal . I tried to help her finding a right place to get her dress ready! Luckily the owner was there and he was very kind and responsive! He assured me that he will fix that in 24 hours! I just left this place and am EXTREMEMLY put-off. Jasmine was working the counter and she spoke to me in the most condescending way. I arrived here to pick up my five items with one item being isolated from the bag. I asked her if she could please find out if that shirt was cleaned or not. She then very rudely said she can't do that and rolled her eyes. I said could you ask someone else, maybe your boss? She then got even more upset at me at what I thought was a reasonable request. I told her to please just let me pay for my items. After I paid, she just walked away to the back, not a 'thank you', no 'good-bye', just walked away. I see lots of good reviews on here so I imagine that this Jasmine and her behavior is not something that the owner wants as a representation of their business. I took my carpet into this business to get a stain cleaned, they returned it to me without cleaning the stain. Charged me $115. Did not have me sign a waiver explaining they had no guarantee on getting the spot out. Had they told me upfront that they may not be able to get the stain out, I would have opted to not take a chance. I called the business explaining the situation and they were rude over the phone. The gal said the owner was out of town and when he was back he would give me a call. Never received the call. Bad experience all the way around. read more

I love my clothes and do my best to take very good care of them. I bought a brand new Hermes shirt a few weeks ago and, unfortunately, my first time wearing it, some dark brown oil/grease splashed onto it leaving 6 or 7 spots. I was crushed. I tried a Tide pen, dishwashing soap, Wisk.... all to no avail. The grease stains were still evident. I took it to Magic Touch (where all of my cleaning goes - and they've done a good job, but, I've never taken anything like this in before) and showed them the spots. They were concerned because I had already tried to clean them, but said they'd do their best. When I called to check on the shirt the following week, they had it back, but said the spots were still visible, so they were going to send it back and try again. Today, I went to pick it up and, voila! No more spots or stains! I'm SO impressed at their dedication and commitment to getting this corrected for me! I was asked to be a bridesmaid at a wedding 1 month before the date. I had to order my dress online from overseas, so you can imagine the anxiety I was going thru. Dress came about 10 days before the wedding. I found a seamstress with rave reviews, but 4 days holding on to my dress, I called to follow up. She had not started because she was relocating her store. I wasn't mad because I knew she was going through a move. I just wish I went with my gut feeling of going elsewhere due to time. I found Magic Touch on Yelp; they had great reviews and is closer to home. Keep in mind that it's 4 days before the wedding. I take my dress in. Mike did some measurements since Ms. MARY, the seamstress was not in until Wed, 2 days before the wedding on Friday. I got a call from Mike in the morning when Ms. MARY arrived. I came in and redid my alteration measurements so Ms Mary could see what was needed herself. She only works a few days there. I was so nervous because of the timeline. Mike was so calm and reassuring that they would take care of everything, no problem. When I came in Wed to get remeasured, I also brought my bf slacks to be hemmed. The next day, I got a call from Mike around 1pm. They had my dress and his slacks altered, cleaned, and pressed. I could not believe the quick turnaround. Ms MARY is MAGIC with her skills. I was SO HAPPY; I had to hug her. I couldn't believe she did this so quickly. She stayed late Wed to finish because she was not working Friday and she wanted to make sure she finished on time for the wedding. I highly recommend taking your alterations and cleaning to Magic Touch. Mike treated me like I was family, and it was my first visit. Ms Mary was so sweet and listened to everything I wanted. I was trying to be more conservative, and she said, "A little sexy cleavage is okay." I will definitely be coming back! Thank you, Mike and Ms Mary, for being so wonderful!
