Setting up an appointment is a bit difficult because Tia is a busy lady…read more Try to set up an appointment ~2 weeks in advance. Don't think that you will be able to get a massage a day after. This location was a bit confusing at first because the map led me to this Tax & financial building. But that is the right location! Her place is located straight from the door entrance on the first floor. Her massage room was very spacious and the lighting was just perfect. The room is pretty clean too. The reason why I liked this place is because Tia knows what she is doing. She will focus on whichever muscle you want to work on. She told me my back/shoulder muscles are in pretty bad shape so we spent the whole hour trying to work on those muscle knots. and I felt a lot better after that. Price varies but she said she usually charge a dollar per min. so 60 bucks/hr. But she will give you discount if you say you are a student! ($50/hr) Only downside about this place is that they don't offer water or anything after the intense massage session to hydrate yourself. So make sure to bring your own water! I would definitely come back to this place though and recommend my friends about this place :-)

My massage was fine. I kind of wanted/expected more than fine…read more Aesthetically, this is not your typical massage space. It's located inside an office park, in the office next to a collection agency. Don't expect a private, comfortable room with fine touches. It's her office space with a desk and a bunch of photos of her kids. It's fine because you're just getting on the table and closing your eyes anyway, but I've never experienced a massage setting like this. Mostly, the massage mechanics were fine, but she did not seem mentally present by any stretch of the imagination. She did play some music, which ended halfway through the massage and she didn't pause to fix it. We just continued in the awkward silence where we could hear random people moving around other parts of the building. Prior to the massage, we discussed how I am dealing with a foot injury, and she specifically said she wasn't going to massage my right foot. She ended up doing so, and since it didn't actually hurt me, I didn't say anything, but I felt like she wasn't paying much attention. After the massage, I felt rushed during the changing process, and I noticed another person was waiting directly after me. No water was provided, which was a first in a massage setting for me. I get the impression from my dealing with her overall that she may have more customers than she can realistically manage. I don't know what the regular price is, as I purchased a Groupon. (She hastily gave me a card before sending me on my way to take the next person.) I felt like I got my money for the Groupon at least. Setting up the massage was pretty much nothing short of a hot mess, too. As mentioned, I bought a Groupon back in July for a massage, and the earliest I could get an appointment was September 30, which I assumed was because I specifically requested a Saturday. I made my plans around this, and I called a few days ahead of time to confirm the time and address. I am really glad that I did because it turns out she had forgotten to write anything down. There was some sort of maintenance being done on the building, and I couldn't come on September 30. I should add here that Tia mostly communicates via text messaging, so it's odd that she didn't have my number or information. We had set the whole thing up via text. I found the text before she had returned my call (the one occasion not by text was to explain the snafu). To her credit, she did try to get my information from Groupon, who wouldn't release it, but had I not called, I would have shown up for my massage and been let down. I couldn't get another Saturday appointment, so I ended up going after work one day, which is fine but not ideal. Considering I had waited two months already for the appointment, it was ridiculous I had to take whatever I could get. On the day of the massage, I got some weird text message 2 hours early about how I needed to come 15 minutes later, and then once I replied, she said to come at the original time. It was all just so disorganized. It's worth a Groupon price, but I think you could get much better service and pleasant experience going somewhere else for a little bit more money.
