LI Carpet Cleaners have done carpets in my building for over 25 years and I was always a satisfied customer. In early September I had a rug picked up by this company a la Kingsway. The rug had moth issues. I had no idea that the problem existed. The customer service person Dorothy called me and spoke about extensive damage. I was surprised and upset that my beautiful expensive rug was in such bad condition and that I was recommended to discard it. She was very curt. I requested and quickly received photos. I wasn't told on the phone that the cost for disposal would be $80 and that the rug was going to be treated for moth infestation immediately at the cost of $80 without my approval. I got back to Dorothy about 15 minutes later after seeing the photos and asked that the rug be discarded. Minutes later I received an invoice listing all the fees. I don't understand why all fees weren't clearly explained on the phone during our first conversation. Dorothy was in a big rush to get off the phone. I don't think I should have been charged for a moth cleaning since I wasn't given a time frame for responding to this upsetting situation and 15 minutes is a reasonable response time. It was a terrible customer service experience.

They blew the socket taking out all the electricity in the kitchen. When they did the technician said, "your electricity is not my problem." Then he plugged in his machine in my living room. I asked him to stop since he said the living room couldn't take it. He said he refused to leave because he would have to pay the bill if he didn't finish. I told him that according to him, I didn't have the power to run his machine and I didn't want to blow out anymore fuses (they didn't reset and we had to call in help.) he wouldn't leave then he called the police when I insisted he do. He left with the job half done. Then the company, without speaking to me or seeing my home, said they had finished the job and I was to pay in full. After he left we washed the soap off put rugs and had to call in service for the electricity. The whole thing was upsetting and frankly, awful. Please spare yourself the trouble and use anybody else.

I booked with this company because they were super easy to book and responsive and relatively…read moreaffordable and my couch needed a cleaning so I'll give them a couple stars for that. My couch had standard use stains - nothing big and no pets - so I booked the light treatment and scotch guard for $180 + tip. The couch was wet when the tech left so I let it dry and then went to look at it and it looked way better on the cushions except there was one portion that was very obviously missed and a couple other things like not picking up the handles and cleaning under them. I texted the business (that's how I had booked and communicated with them) to clarify what the service covered and I was told there was no way they could have missed this and it was simply stains that wouldn't come out due to me only booking the light treatment. So... being annoyed, I bought a Bissell "Little Green" for $110 of Amazon and cleaned it myself and sure enough, the stains came out. My recommendation would be to save yourself your money and do it yourself. Things happen and I was trying to be understanding but overall bad customer service and lack of ownership of what was probably a simple mistake are frustrating.

Well was moving and needed my 9x12 bedroom rug cleaned. Saw this cleaner had a good rating. So I…read morecalled and made appointment to pick up rug for cleaning. So workers come on a Sunday to pick up rug. As worker was leaving he said " He needed deposit of $200. I looked at him " I don't have $200 dollars cash laying around. Gave him my email to send me payment. They picked up rug April 12. I got no email for deposit payment. So I called 8 days later saying what happened to deposit payment? And why does the customer have to call and ask where is the deposit being paid too. Fine I sent $200 deposit. Now it's May 12th and no word on my rug. So again I have to call and ask where is my rug? Communication is not a strong attribute of this cleaning service. So now rug is ready to deliver in my new apartment. Timing was essential because right after rug the bedroom set was being delivered. So workers dropped off rug on Sunday morning. And now same guy that says he needed deposit when he picked up rug. He wants to charge me for deposit again. I said no way! And literally had to show him email receipt of deposit paid. Now I did not pay attention to look at rug until right before delivery of bedroom set. And what do I see? THE RUG IS NOT 100% CLEAN. I was like wtf? I paid $550 for a partially cleaned rug. My rug is a Super Kashan model Ivory. (See pic) you can see difference between top and middle. Top is ivory and looking towards middle it's still dirty. Unreal! Secondly I was not going to waste my time with these idiots. Literally would have no place to keep new queen size bedroom set in one bedroom apartment. And imagine having to move bedroom set breaking my back because a cleaning company can't clean a rug. What are they blind? I trusted their work based on reviews but boy was that a mistake. Wish there was zero stars. Because they deserve zero for this failure. I would NEVER recommend this company. My advice would be go to Home Depot and rent a machine. YouTube also shows you how to clean it your self.
