They called back to ask if delivery is OK for 12/31 I said I'd prefer it sooner, they gave me 12/26. By 12/24 I called to advice them I was recovering from surgery that was done a few days earlier, and need a 12/26 afternoon delivery, as I need to make it to the bank in the morning. I was told that's OK, someone will call back. Nobody called back. I did get banking done early on the 26th. Today on 12/31 rug was delivered. I did put in a complaint that I DID call them on the 24th but I did not appreciate having to go to the bank early on the 26th while in recovery, and not getting a call back. A MANAGER called back apologizing about a computer glitch CAN YOU SMELL THE BS? what does that have to do with a call back??? Customer service sucks and the price is Twice of what I used to pay CleaTex. No Im never calling them again. I don't deal with BS.

He is a very aggressive salesman, and pressured her into having a rug cleaned that she didn't think needed cleaning and also into adding service she didn't want. When she called him and told him to take those services off the order, he told her he did, but charged her for them anyway. He told her pickup and delivery were free, then later demanded payment for delivery. He also quoted her a per rug cost then multiplied it to much more than the actual total. He stood threateningly close over her shoulder reading her bank details (at one point he took her laptop and checked her bank balance) while she made the first payment online. He delivered two days before they had agreed (before she was ready for delivery, and while she wasn't there) and then proceeded to call her every few minutes for over an hour loudly demanding the remaining payment immediately. He even took one of her rugs hostage and told her she wouldn't get it back unless he got payment immediately, even though they had agreed delivery and payment would be two days later. He objected loudly and angrily when she said she needed a few minutes to look over the bill. She paid him because she felt so threatened. Overall cost was over $7000 for cleaning three rugs even though she only wanted two rugs cleaned. Nick is a nightmare you don't need. She called Rug Cleaning Westchester, and Nick came, but he gave her an invoice from Brielle's Rug Cleaning. The company he had her send the money to was Think Green Carpet Cleaning. Are these all actually the same company? Hard to say. I'm going to leave this review on all three company's pages. I guess he probably has quite a few fronts.

While I appreciate the thorough and ALL CAPS response--what I do not appreciate is the inaccurate description of what occurred. The technician very clearly referred to me as a "punta," which must be a term of endearment used by this company. Those who hired this company also did not yell. I did tell them that they were scamming us, because they were. A few days later, I scheduled a cleaning with Stanley Steemer. They confirmed the scam that Think Green tried to pull. The carpet could most certainly be steam cleaned and it was and looks beautiful. Save yourself the hassle and just go to Stanley Steemer. They were nice, ON TIME, professional and reasonably priced.
