I requested a price quote through Yelp and they were quick to respond, thorough in explaining to me the process (except they forgot to tell me it takes 6-8 hours for the carpet to dry) and after calling SEVERAL local carpet cleaning companies Always Green had one of the best prices. I also wanted a company that uses all-natural/chemical free cleaning solutions since I have a young toddler who loves to play on the carpet. Our technician (I think his name was Giovanni) came on time (even called me 25 minutes in advance to give us a heads up) and a little less than an hour later our wall-to-walk carpeting was clean, bright and felt extra clean. The one reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because our nursery had a pretty big spot our baby vomited on (which we did our best to clean but also asked them to concentrate on) and 10 hours later it still smells bad. Zero deodorizing was done in the only spot we needed it in. The rest of the house looks great. We had no stains, just wanted a cleaning. Yet, this company will charge you a premium higher than the other good companies. They are a good $150-$200 more over other quotes I got from high rated vendors I've used before. So I ordered these guys to do "shampoo deep cleaning" which, according to them - is the best thing you can do to the carpet. $345 later... 6 days have passed, we are still not living there. My wife came in to do one last vacuum run. You may see the pictures - that is how much crap she pulled out of the carpet. I called these guys to try and make it right. Their response - well, this is a standard amount of dust that is accumulated in a carpet over a period of a few days. If you had called us before, we'd say - perhaps it is our fault. But you are calling almost a week later - this is definitely your dust. Technicians super professional, masks and shoe booties, kind, explained rates thoroughly and very professional. I originally booked a simple steam clean but after some explanation, I decided for the deep clean and then added my carpet to be steamed as well! My elderly cat has chronic allergies and sneezes a lot so there is tiny splatters of dried mucus all over my beautiful couch. They cleaned it so well, the couch looks brand new! However, they didn't lift all the stubborn pet hairs off of my couch, which i was surprised about, considering I went for the shampoo and conditioner package. And, speaking of, I felt that the estimate i was given was pretty low, which is a reason why I went with Always, but in reality I was upsold pretty hard and ended up paying almost triple my estimate. I had 8 rooms, 3 flights of stairs and 2 hallways "cleaned " and I'm extremely disappointed, to say the least. My carpet is not any cleaner and NONE of the stains came out. And I mean NONE. Also, my carpet took about 24 hours to dry, not 6-8 hours as they claimed. The long drying time is a breeding ground for mold! Furthermore, The smell that was left after the cleaning was pretty atrocious. They charged me a much higher price than other places but I was willing to pay for natural, nontoxic ingredients. But my carpet is not clean and it may have mold growing underneath it now. I will definitely not use them again and would not recommend them. read more
