We went to get a quote for a seat for my Ford truck, which had tears in several spots. Orlando told us he could repair it or replace it. He quoted us for leather and for vinyl with leather since my seat had both. He said he could repair it for 1,000 dollars, no problem. I had a whole new seat installed in Los Angeles for under 500.00. So this price was shocking. He was very nice, so we decided to have him do the job. The night before it was due, Orlando called to say he couldn't repair it. He needed to replace the seat. It wouldn't work, and he had already taken it all apart. Then he said it would be 600.00 more. I told him this was way too much, and I wouldn't have had him do the work if he couldn't. He said 500.00 more was the lowest he could go. I told him I wasn't happy about this at all, but I needed to get my truck back. When we went to pick it up, he had done the entire seat in vinyl. No leather was used to make it match my other seat. So not only does it not match my other seat, but it is also a lower-quality material for 1600.00 for one seat! I would have rather had a matching seat! The vinyl looks ok but I would never had had him do a vinyl seat for that price. I would have gone somewhere else. Orlando is very friendly and nice, but if he gives you a price, get it all in writing; otherwise, good luck! It wasn't a good experience. I felt taken advantage of. read more
