Stage at the Magic and Wonder Theater

From the moment you enter the Magic and Wonder theater you know you are in a special place. For a dinner theater-- just being real--- I didn't expect the buffet to be as good as it was. It normally isn't stellar in these types of venues. I was pleasantly surprised. Theirs was great! Several choices of main courses and it tasted amazing! My servers, Lincoln and Abigail were attentive and prompt. I did the VIP experience. I highly recommend it. They build in some magical moments to make the night special for you. The preshow entertainment was outstanding. The young man doing walk around close up magic in the crowd astounded many, including me! The cast works very hard to create an immersive magical atmosphere from the moment you walk in and they truly deliver just that. The magic show was AMAZING. Professional lighting and staging combined with moving music and mind-blowing full-scale illusions you would expect to see in a Las Vegas show. The aerialists and dancers added another level of awe to the performance, too. There were built in moments where the audience laughed out loud and gasped in amazement and it's all family friendly. Brett Myers is not only an outstanding magician, but also carries a stage presence of a true seasoned professional. The magic will blow you away but the theatrical presentation of the effects make it extremely memorable. Some magic shows just throw one disjointed effect after another but this show had a magical theme with moments that drew you into a story. It made the evening that much more wonderful. A+! If you're in the Lancaster area, make this show a priority. You won't be disappointed! It's the place to be astounded and make a memory you won't soon forget. I am happy to recommend it in the highest possible terms.

The theatre shows its age, though the seating is pleasantly spacious. We chose the magic and illusion show based on positive reviews, but unfortunately it felt amateur. It's definitely geared towards a younger audience. The good needs improvement- no one in our group liked it. It was just bad all around.. The staff were super friendly and our waiter was amazing. At over $60 per ticket, it simply wasn't worth it.

Oh, where do I start? The theatre is quite old but the seating is spacious. We went to the magic and illusions performance based on the ratings posted. It is very amateur to say the least and oh so very corny. Bring on the butter and the salt! We only saw one good illusion during the first act. Then we made magic by disappearing. Hence, we do not know if it improved by the second act. It wasn't worth the $58+ per ticket. Unfortunately I missed the coupons that were posted two days later.

What a cute establishment. Kind and efficient staff. The play was a trip down memory lane. The theater play featured music from the 50s thru the 80s. We saw a play on September 11th, and they did a tribute to all armed forces. The actors were so talented. Support the arts!

Another incredible performance. Loved the show and the message shared. Only a few sound tech hiccups, but looking forward to attending future shows.

We've been to this area MANY times and have never seen this Theater much less the show. The food was fantastic and the show amazing. We've seen MANY magicians and illusionists as far as Vegas. Brett Meyer is VERY, VERY GOOD and worth every cent. Don't doubt the show or the food. You'll be glad you came.

Just want to see the jukebox musical I can't say enough nice thing about it is music from the 50s to the 80s. The entertainment was amazing. It is a dinner theater but you had a choice of eating dinner there or not and we did not but I heard the food was amazing also. This is a definite go see staff was amazing. Everybody greeted you so friendly. I definitely recommend.

Amazing act - stunning

The show appealed to all ages in the audience and was a fun outing with my sister and her middle school kids.

From beginning to end, everything felt so real, as though we were actually living in the moment. The theater was beautifully organized, the actors were absolutely amazing, and the stage setup was spectacular. Every scene was brought to life with such incredible detail, making the entire experience feel so realistic. What made the experience even more special was seeing how much my children enjoyed it. One of my sons is on the autism spectrum and typically has a hard time staying engaged while watching movies or shows. To my surprise, he remained engaged throughout the performance and genuinely enjoyed himself! My other two children also loved the show and were able to follow and understand the storyline. Each actor portrayed their character beautifully, and the attention to detail was outstanding. You could truly see the hard work, passion, and dedication that went into bringing this story to life. I highly recommend this show to families! It was an amazing, meaningful, and memorable experience that we will cherish for a long time. We absolutely loved it!

It is an old barn remodeled inside, bought from the farmer directly behind the shop. We were greeted as soon as we entered by a younger woman, she ended up being so nice to have a conversation with. We talked wine and other things, because me and my husband did the wine tasting - I recommend there white sangria (will run you $15) tropical in flavor as the young woman explained to us during our tasting. She informed us of the upstairs, which is a full bar and you can enjoy wine/liquor by the glass or flights. There is no food on site, she informed us that when Covid hit they removed the entire kitchen. Kind of a shame, I bet a food truck in their parking lot would do them well! They sure have the space for it! Overall, it was a great experience to add to our day trip in beautiful Lancaster county!

She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made chatting at the upstairs bar a really enjoyable part of our visit. The winery is lucky to have her! I'm not typically a beer drinker, but I actually enjoyed the Red Caboose, as well as the Triple Team and the blueberry cider mixture. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the wine selection. I normally enjoy Cabernet Sauvignon and most Merlots, but the wines I sampled were much drier than I prefer. I tried five different wines in total and didn't find one that was a good fit for my taste. The sweeter options were also not what I was looking for. I prefer wines that are balanced--not too sweet and not too dry--and I didn't feel like there were many options in that range. I also wish there were more food choices available. That said, I do appreciate that guests are allowed to bring in their own food, which is a nice option. While I was surprised and disappointed by the wine selection, the atmosphere and our conversation with Sam made the visit enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend stopping in if you enjoy trying different drinks, and hopefully they continue expanding their offerings.

I took them back recently, as they're about to turn 6 years old, and this was the perfect age. There are a variety of experiences you can do here. We did the standard farm tour that includes a 5 minute wagon ride, where kids can drive! And then you go to the farm. On this last trip, there was a little confusion on the tour portion. I think they didn't realize our whole group was waiting. I ended up going up and found someone who managed to find one of the Amish women to give us a tour. On the tour, you'll see baby animals, feed the horses, bottle feed a calf, see baby chicks, and pigs. Then at the end, you can reach under chickens and pull out eggs from the nest. My kids could have stayed here all day. They also have a playground on site, tricycles, and a little shop where you can buy dairy products. Definitely worth a stop here!

However what they put us on was the regular Armish farm fun $22 per person for 1 hour. The difference is the combo one includes gardening and barrel train ride. But anyway, we realized it as the tour ended after one hour. We didn't bring it up since my children actually wanted to leave because of the hot summer heat. I will recommend the $22 basic tour. It was packed with action and after one hour, my kids had enough of the farm ( we also visited the miniature horse farm next door before this) and long for AC. The tour started with a hayride around the farm, about 8 min ride. Then we went indoor at the animal barns to cuddle: chicken, ducklings, bunnies, kittens, piglets , feed Cheetos to pigs and watch them go down the slides, bottle feed the cows, milk a cow and collect eggs ( pick one up and put in a basket). It was fulled of actions. Strongly recommended this $22 basic farm tour. While you are waiting for your tour, you can kill time by playing at the playground ( under full sun) or go indoor to the corn box for free.

Held on the grounds of the Hershey Farm Restaurant & Inn, this festival offers cute events such as a Whoopie Pie Treasure Hunt (hundreds of them are all hidden on the grounds in brightly-colored foil); a Whoopie Pie Race (you just grab a pie and run AHAHAHA); watch a Whoopie PIe Long Launch (whoever hits the target/gets close enough, wins!); play Whoopie PIe Checkers (if you're a checker master, you can go through the Tournament Rounds); participate in a Whoopie Yell Off (in your loudest voice, giving a shout-out for some Whoopie Pie love); watch/participate in an Amateur Whoopie Pie Eating Contest (watching who can eat dozen the quickest?); watch the participating chefs make the largest Whoopie Pie ever, and even get the opportunity to decorate your own Whoopie Pie :P There are also local artisans and craftsmen in which you can check out their items to purchase, for yourself or as gifts. If you're hungry, you can grab a meal at the Hershey Farm restaurant, or just stuff yourself silly with the variety of Whoopie Pie flavors they have available :D The variety of flavors they had for these pies were quic amazing - when you walk up to the main tent, you are given a plastic bag. There long aisles of compartmentalized wooden crates with labels of the flavors (such as Lemon Poppy Orange Cream Cheese, Oreos, Rocky Road, Death by Chocolate, Confetti with Strawberry, Banana with Orange Cream Cheese, etc.). I was a little disappointed that the pies have been refrigerated, and even though they were saran-wrapped, they were dripping with water, making them a little soggy T____T Once you fill your bag to your heart's content, you pay at the cashiers by the exit area. The place was definitely packed to the brim, and moving around was a little tight. Parking on the Farm was not allowed and needed to be done at nearby establishments (such as the outlet store); from there, a free shuttle (school bus) came every so often for a pick-up (this was another adventure, as so many violations were violated - the driver forced about 4 people per seat, trying to get as many people in the bus as possible :O We actually walked back from the festival, as the traffic was horrendous, in addition to some of the construction that was going on. An interesting festival to check out when you're in the Lancaster County area! :D +annual Whoopie Pie Festival :D +parking at nearby establishments +free shuttle offered
