Stumbled upon this place and was pleasantly surprised. The more than affordable prices for the frozen daiquiris were a pleasant surprise and super delish (a bit slushy due to the hot temperatures so go straight home). Highly recommend the Hurricane Lou or Goose mix which packs a good punch! read more

I'm very disappointed in the service received tonight. The young blonde girl was super rude and claimed she thought my license was fake, but had no reason to. It's just an out of state license because I'm here visiting. She was super rude when I asked for someone else to check it or if they could scan it. She said no I already said no and they don't have to serve me. I do not have a fake id and I'm also 28 years old. If she was trained well she would've known what an AR ID looked like. Also if she wasn't sure she could've asked someone for a second opinion. When I called to speak to a manager he was also rude and said we aren't in the business of taking fake ids. It was an all around awful experience especially to someone visiting considering this is a tourist town. read more

Only in Louisiana, can you drive thru a liquor store and pick up a frozen daiquiri with a straw inside it (paper still covering the tip) and still be able to drive home without worrying about an open container violation. I'm just sayin' - it is a different WORLD down there! Maggio's is one of the main things I miss about Natchitoches. Many nights started out at Maggio's getting a JUMBO frozen cocktail. Memorable ones include Strawberry Daiquiri, 160 Octane, Eggnog (for Christmas Festival!), and Mudslide. Being from Texas, a drive thru liquor store itself amazes me... and their frozen drinks are delish and pretty cheap if you ask me! Where else can you get a 16 oz long island iced tea for 3.25? They also have a pretty great selection of champagne, wine and beer. If you walk in, there are tons of liquor bottles lining the shelves to your left and a great variety. Visiting Natchitoches for weekend. Wanted some daquiris. Stopped in at maggios. Staff was great. But,Daquiris not so much. My Lady used to live in schreveport La. Daquiri Express was the bomb. Had to visit while in town since it's seemingly the ONLY place in Natchitoches that carries microbrews beyond Abita. Decent little selection. Noticed a couple of the beers were passed their prime. But mostly, I went to get a Pink Alligator to go. Gotta love a drank that comes in 'Family Size'! read more
