When one enters Berghahn's, they are immediately greeted with a "Hello" by either mother or son. They are ready and willing to help you with all of your needs and have great ideas to help your garden to reach it's potential. "Willl the bush cucumbers yield as much fruit as the climbing variety?" "My zucchini flowered last year but didn't produce fruit, why?" They always have the answer. On my recent visit they had 6 different varities of cherry tomatoes (my favorite being Sweet Baby Girl which is impossible to find anywhere else) 5 different varieties of cucumbers, maybe 15 different varieties of tomatoes..........you get the idea. Everything grown in their greenhouse on the premises. The flowers are beautiful, healthy and they have many hard to find, unique varieties and colors. They are in no way hard sell or pushy, simply helpful! The prices are VERY REASONABLE on annuals, perennials, hanging plants, herbs, vegetables, and all of your gardening needs. RIght across the street from the Delta gas station. Doesn't look like much from the street but park your car and wander to the back............you will be surprised at the little wonderland of plants that is not visible from the road. A little horticultural oasis.

Thank you to "BRIANNA" the manager at Paterson Nj location…read more I had an extremely unprofessional and frustrating experience at the Home Depot in Passaic, NJ. My partner and I came in to return an air conditioner that we had purchased earlier the same day, and instead of receiving help, we were met with attitude and hostility from the manager, Carmen. At first, a helpful employee named Daniel tried to assist us. He even pulled us aside and said, "Carmen always causes problems, so I'm trying to resolve this for you myself." That alone should tell you everything you need to know. Carmen made the situation worse at every step and clearly had no interest in resolving the issue professionally. But what made this even more outrageous is that after we left the store, Carmen called our phone and falsely accused us of stealing the air conditioner we were trying to return. This was straight-up harassment and completely unacceptable behavior from someone in a management position. Home Depot lost two good customers because of her. Thankfully, the situation was turned around thanks to BRIANNA, the manager at the Paterson, NJ Home Depot. She was respectful, polite, and went above and beyond to help us. She mentioned that we weren't the first people to come to her store complaining about Carmen from Passaic, which speaks volumes. Brianna genuinely felt bad for us, and unlike Carmen, she showed compassion and professionalism. Even though Brianna's shift ended at 4 PM, she stayed past her hours to make sure everything was resolved -- and finally got us our refund. That kind of dedication is rare and deserves to be recognized. Thank you, Brianna! We highly recommend skipping the Passaic location altogether and going straight to the Paterson, NJ Home Depot if you want to be treated with respect and actually get help.

I came here because I heard about the pumpkin ride. The ride is a short maybe 5 minute ride through the back of the nursery building. They take you to a small area that has goats and chicken. This is ideally for little kids. There is not much to do or see, but it's cute. The maze is short so that the kids can enjoy. They let us take home a little pumpkin. When we got back to the main nursery area they also provided a tiny cup of apple cider. With so many other big farms in the area I don't think I'll be returning for any fall activities here.

Until recently, I would have confidently recommended this nursery to friends and family for their stellar selection and knowledgeable, kind staff. Unfortunately, a recent encounter with an employee named Robin has cast a shadow over what had otherwise been a positive relationship with this business. While browsing the last remaining blue star salvias, three in total, I noticed one was lush and in full bloom, while the other two barely filled a third of their pots. I asked at the register if I could purchase the two weaker plants for the price of one, and the helpful cashier was waiting on a manager, Thomas or Jackson, to weigh in. While they were busy assisting other customers, Robin inserted herself into the conversation. What followed was not only unprofessional but, quite frankly, troubling. When I calmly explained my request and pointed out the state of the plants, Robin looked me up and down, fixating on my shirt which had the word PRIDE on it, then did the same to my partner, who was wearing a similar shirt. She made direct eye contact with me and, without any explanation or effort to problem-solve, almost shouted, "NO." No discussion. No courtesy. No professionalism. Just a flat-out, emphatic dismissal that felt unmistakably personal. A kind associate even suggested checking if there were more plants in the back, but Robin swiftly shut that down too, only relenting after repeated requests, and even then returning suspiciously quickly with a dismissive, "No, there are none." I want to be clear: every other employee I've encountered at Roshler's has been helpful, warm, and accommodating. Robin is, unfortunately, the complete opposite, a glaring exception who displayed none of the customer-focused service this nursery is known for. Whether this interaction was driven by bias or simply by poor temperament, it was unacceptable. It left me feeling unwelcome in a place I had considered a reliable and local favorite. Based on this experience, and despite the convenience of its location, I will be taking my business elsewhere and encouraging others in my network to do the same until Roshler's ensures all customers are treated with respect and dignity.

Stores of this size and magnitude should…read morevery rarely run out of ice melt or shovels when there is a serious weather event and they have plenty of notice nearly 3 weeks notice, and they sat on their hands and they didn't order. It seems to be something that occurs in all the Home Depot's miss management at its highest because stores that size should be ordering for the area that they're in such as Paramus, Lodi, Hackensack and the next closest one is Patterson, but if I were a regional manager I would've ordered a tractor a trailer of all different types of ice melt whether it be calcium chloride or whatever other products that are out there, but I wouldn't wait until the last week and try and make an order and get enough for the people that are coming to my store and I know what the excuse is gonna be and it's just unacceptable when you have 2 to 3 weeks of advanced notice there is no excuse that is mismanagement. What is sad is that after being contacted by the Home Depot representative? They put a site to go to for further comment but when you click on it, it doesn't even open so I would hope that that manager or whoever sends the information he's trying to get to me to my email which is toma3729@gmail.com
