Avoid to all ends because you will never be happy or satisfied if you ever get to the point of seeing the physician. Drive to Tulsa or elsewhere just to avoid the office staff. Dr Baker gave me completely false information regarding biologics. He said you can take it less frequently than prescribed. Every gastro in the world knows you have to take biologics as prescribed, otherwise the body forms major antibodies to the meds and significantly reduces efficacy. He also failed to recognize one of the supplements I was on was causing gut problems. This trip was a complete waste of time and money.

Supposedly it doesn't exist in Arkansas but I can most certainly attest that it DOES EXIST in Arkansas despite what the CDC claims. Ticks do get carried across state lines! My kids, mother and myself ALL have Lyme. Our hormones, thyroids, brain, joints and organs are all a complete mess. Dr Baker listens and understood all our symptoms and how they present themselves inside our bodies. He is fixing our hormones so we can FINALLY sleep at night, think clearer and have less pain. He's suggested supplements you can buy at any drugstore and doesn't push them at his office! We have left our Dr in Atlanta to be treated in our hometown. That says a lot about the care I feel we are receiving. Unbeknownst to me, my neighbor and her husband went to him years ago for low energy and hair falling out and where treated for low thyroid function. They both have done so well they haven't needed to return. The office has a real hyperbaric chamber used for healing wounds and in our cause Lyme with pressurized oxygen therapy. He also says he's "not trying to be a block to treatment", for instance if you suggest a treatment that isn't his first line, he'll explain to you why he thinks there is a better option to try first. But if appropriate, he'll let you have input in regards to your own care. He also does a great job of trying to help you select options that save you money, and doesn't run unnecessary tests or prescribe unnecessary meds if there are other options that are cheaper. My wife and I have both been to him multiple times and we remain satisfied with our doctor. We also have no problems getting appointments and they'll even work you in on a walk-in if needed.
