Dr. Magee is unprofessional. He makes butt jokes in the exam rooms that can be uncomfortable. He…read morebrings his phone into the G.I. Procedure Room at the hospital. A phone with camera capabilities. For my care, he was on his phone texting, searching or quite possibly playing a game when I was wheeled in. He was distracted while asking me questions. My answers could have had an impact on my care. There were concerns I was trying to tell him about. He was not in control of his procedure room. He allowed the anesthesiologist/CRNA to administer a sleep medication they knew burned without administering a common numbing medication to prevent it. I screamed and they, including Dr. Magee held me down while it went in. It left my hand and arm in pain for 8 weeks. Note: The same anesthesia was used on me 4 weeks prior with the proper medication to numb the anesthesia's burning affects. I have not received test results. My insurance company paid a sizeable portion which included follow-up. I left msgs to get results, I wrote the request on the front of bills for a few months. I did not feel comfortable going back to his office, thus the calls and notes. Dr. Magee will push for you to have the procedure and once insurance pays, he feels he has no further obligation. He will report you to the credit bureau if you don't finish paying him for a job he has not completed.

I had a appointment at 3pm and I was seen at the exact time which was very nice. She was a great breath of fresh air compared to my last doctor I had. She gave me a routine checkup and asked if I needed any medication to be refilled which I did. The ladies at the checkin window was very nice. I am glad to have found a doctor that took her time to give me a routine checkup. So now I'll be going back for my bloodwork next month. I noticed a few couples here with babies so they take care of all ages. It's a great change that was the best part of my visit today.
