This is the only place in State College that does threading which sucks. Being the only place that…read moredoes threading puts us faithful lovers of threading in a compromising situation. I feel that every time I come in to get my eye brows threaded the only person that does the threading which is Leila the owner is always to important to high on her high horse to care and listen to what I want and how I want it. I mean I am a paying customer right? Leila is always very quick to attack my eye brows and starts threading them almost immediately as soon as I lay down. She never allowing me( the customer) to express what I came in for and what I want. Its like she is to busy and to important to care. She gives me the vibe that she is doing me a favor by being available which I find it to be very rude and unprofessional. It's obvious that she knows that she is the only person in State College to offer threading which I guess boosts up her ego. She knows that her service is of value to all of us that look and seek for threading service which makes her nasty when it comes to hearing a customer out. So basically, every time I go in because obviously I have to since she is the only one here in State and I refused to get my brows wax and there is so much I can do by my self; i come out looking crazy with super thin eye browns that look just like hers?!? yuk. I hate it. I wish she would just listen and know that I just want to have them cleaned and no I don't want you to cut them. ;/ An annoyed customer.

A card card had to be on file to book the appointment and we were told it would be a $45 haircut and $85 single process (simple all over brown color). This turned into being charged $345! My daughter was clueless that anything additional was being charged. When I saw the charge hit my card, I immediately called the salon. I was told I had to speak to a manager and no one else could help me. No problem, right? Well after several calls, messages, and emails, No manager ever replied. EVER. Now I'm fighting it on my credit card and that should work out but honestly, this salon is taking advantage of these young women who don't know better and are charging the card on file before they know what hit them. The card was literally charged before she even completed her color. We rarely write bad reviews but this is just too egregious to ignore. They refuse to answer me or offer any explanation. Ugh - learn from me and stay away.

As a woman I've been wanting them done for years but I really wanted another woman to do this piercing. I'm so glad that I held out! Jessie was friendly but professional and seriously did an incredible job! In such a short time they honestly look like they are already healed. I've been following her instructions (I wish I could put this in bold seriously please listen to your piercers/tat artists about after care). The first two days they were pretty tender but surprisingly not as bad as I was expecting. Now, they honestly look like they are already healed and I barely have any soreness. I'm already starting to forget they are even there! I really dig the look and vibe of the whole studio. It looks awesome and is very clean. LOVE that you can make appointments online. I had zero issues.d Jessie is for sure my go to piercer now! The staff was friendly and professional. My stylist listened to what I wanted and used several interesting tools to achieve texture and versatility in my cut. The sinks were comfortable, and the stations are spaced out well so that you feel like you have some privacy (and you're not listening to the person next to you blab through their entire appointment.) At the end, my stylist didn't "push" products on me -- I hate when someone tries to pressure me into buying something!
