They don't necessarily do all of the work, they help you correct the issues and understand the how's and why's. They did indeed step in and do a great deal of the work, which I truly appreciated, just as I did the nostalgic conversations about bike designs over the decades. I highly recommend this group to anyone needing bike repair and if you're looking to purchase a used one, they have several in stock.

You will be treated like literal crap and they know that you'll have to take it or be "exited" meaning kicked out into the elements. Always remember your faith and relationship with the Most High Almighty when you're used as a chew toy daily by the front desk staff.

The leadership was great at communicating throughout the recruitment process. At the event, all staff members who worked with the volunteers loved doing so and the volunteers had great feed back too. I've also had the pleasure of volunteering myself. I love that the group offers a variety of organizations to become involved with. The flexibility has provided me a volunteer experience that works with my schedule. The other volunteers have always been wonderful and I know I'll continue to volunteer and recommend to friends. Flexibility - you can sign up to help out whenever you want. Once a week or once a year. I've added my name to events the night before if there were still open spots. It's great for my schedule. 2. The People - great way to make new friends and network. Very caring and enjoyable group of people to be around. Juliana, the group founder, and her team of project leaders help newbies feel welcome. 3. Causes - wide range of volunteer projects. You can choose to help with projects that matter to you. This is always important to me when choosing volunteer groups. "It's service with a social twist." I recommend this group to all of my friends and I definitely recommend it to all my Yelp-ers. They make it absurdly hard to get a kitten. It honestly feels like they prefer the cats stay there…read moreforever rather than go to loving homes. The process was unnecessarily long, complicated, and frustrating from start to end. We were asked to fill out a form and provide an excessive amount of personal information, only for them to reach out 2 days later to schedule a meeting... which they canceled. Not once. Not twice. Three times. By the fourth attempt, we honestly should've taken that as a sign. When we finally made it to the Zoom call, we mentioned that we already have a cat, which we thought would help speed things up. Somehow, it did the opposite. We were told we had to submit our cat's vaccination records, and IF AND ONLY IF those were approved, we might be allowed to meet the kitten two weeks later, since she was in a foster home. At that point, we were done. We didn't send anything. Instead, we drove straight to the Humane Society. And what a difference. We walked in, met the most adorable kitten on the planet, petted her, filled out some basic paperwork, and were treated like normal, trustworthy people, not suspects under investigation. We walked out with our kitten in under two hours. This place was completely unserious, wildly inefficient, and a total waste of time.

But I didn't need to worry. They were volunteers with A Purrfect Start animal rescue in Grove City. On their own time and dime, they were picking up strays to be spayed and neutered and then were returning them to the area, left ear clipped to show they'd been taken in. Purrfect Start has been helping homeless animals, both domestic and feral with food, shelter, fostering, adoptions and also spaying and neutering since the summer of 2008. Kudos to these special folks for doing the right thing. In addition, I recently adopted in one of the kittens they returned to the area. She's a sweetheart named Tawney. but I just call her Ton-Ton. 5 Stars.
