My car's AC hasn't been working for years. My dad used this place one day and said they were good and I should try them to get my AC tuned up. So...I went! Everyone there was nice, especially the young kid!! He truly was the best! I would go back JUST FOR HIM! So respectful and hard working. In the end, my car's AC works amazing! It doesn't even need to go on full blast (luckily the weather hasn't been disgusting hot), but now I'm prepared for any hot weather. The reason for 4 stars? The owner, I believe, needs to work on his communication before people leave. He was very clear once I called with questions about what I paid for and even offered to have me come down to show and explain. The phone worked and my experience was pleasant. I brought the first time .y 2009 vw cc for a leak and it was the water pump but this little man patched it up with some silicone. This time I took it in to change a hose "upper radiator hose" 15 minutes work $280 when I picked up the car drove of the lot check engine light went on and car was barely driving. So I got screamed and yelled at, threatened for wanting this little man to fix to the condition in which I got him my car. Nothing besides threatening, yelling and screaming and kicking me of his lot. So if you want video ask for I can't posted , advised by small claim court laws. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! Brought my car in to have a new front axle installed because of a cracked boot. They did not use the right size axle or nut, as well as did not insert the pin and crimp to keep the axle locked on. After exiting the freeway after repairs were done, the bolt had FALLEN OFF into the hub cap! This is suppose to be holding my AXLE! Very lucky an accident did not happen and took it directly to another shop and had it fixed right. GROSS NEGLIGENCE! This could have KILLED my family and others! I took my car in for an oil change. Car was running fine. The owner states that his mechanic wouldn't be in until 8am. I waited 40 mins for his guy to get to work. They took my car in the lift it took them 45 mins for an simple oil change. When I got my car back the oil light and check engine light was on. I asked him about it. He stated he did nothing but change the oil. I argued that my car was fine before hand he got upset and was yelling that he did nothing to my car. He had his guy show me the oil level. I had no time to argue so I left to work . I called my fiance and told him what happened. My fiance called him and told him that my car never had any issues and told him to tell me to bring it back.. I agreed... Before I could leave work the owner called me and told me to bring my car back to put on a sensor. Hmm how did he know it was a sensor remember he said he did nothing to my car. So before I went I got the check engine light diagnosed it had to do with a sensor and oil levels. I arrived at his shop and he says it would take 30 mins to and hour and a half to fix. I told him I didn't have that time. He told me ok stand over there and he'll look at it. My daughter picked me up and before we could get to the store in the same parking lot he called and told me that my car was ready, that was only 10 mins. ​I went and picked up my car he was non where to be found. My sister was visiting from Oregon and her starter went out, she went here and they charged her $60 for labor and was done very quick. My water pump went out and I didn't know where to go, my sis reminded me of this place so I pulled in at 9 o'clock the nice men came right out popped my hood said my water pump was out. Took car in there for a seized engine. He said the engine was replaced and charged us $4200 for the engine and swap. Had another mechanic look at it since the engine broke twice within 6 months of the repair to find out that the engine was never replaced. They stripped the bolts/broke the heads off the bolts on the bottom of the engine and it was leaking oil everywhere. Failed to do work that was quoted on the service order. Front main and rear main seals along with the oil pan seal were never replaced and this was all after the engine and transmission fell apart from not being put together properly. Do. Not. Trust. Them. It's also worth noting that they damaged the hood because they removed it, put it on the roof of the car and lifted it into the rafters. Ray also cussed my wife out when the engine fell apart and said it was our fault for 'driving it'. read more

I thought this place was good. I was wrong. This place replaced my AC compressor. However, they grounded a wire of the AC unit that was not supposed to be grounded. I bought my 2002 Honda Civic LX directly from Maita Honda and paid cash. Maita would not sell a car with altered wiring like this, and they never worked on my AC compressor at all. The compressor stays on when the car is off, and the 76 Union wasn't willing to fix their mistake even though Maita Honda showed me pictures and gave me a technical statement to verify that 76 Union installed my AC compressor out of OEM specifications. Now, I had to call the service agreement company out to Maita Honda that also paid for the AC compressor at the 76 Union Station. So they looked over it for 5-10 minutes and told me to go to the dealership to get it fixed and still charged me $30. I paid to get it fixed not for them to only look at it.. This place is great! Went to two different places to get the oil changed today, both places said it would be over an hour. I took a chance on the way home and just pulled in to see how long at Madison Service 76. I've lived around the corner for 6 years and never bothered to pull in here for repairs until now, he told me he'd have it done in 30 minutes, he had it done in 20, and about 25 dollars less than Jiffylube. Plus they checked all fluid levels and belts and didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff, oil changed and kept going.
