I never write reviews but I had to because I saw these when I was looking at this place and it made me unsure. I don't want anyone else to be swayed because this was the best decision moving here! The whole team at the Breakers Apartments are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They are so quick to respond and were so helpful during the application process and move-in. If you ever need help with anything they are there and will solve issues so quickly. Mellisa is the absolute sweetest person and gets you set up with everything. The apartments are so clean and beautiful. Sure, this place isn't new but it is well kept. There are always people cleaning, maintaining the property, and making this place look so beautiful. I love my apartment and they provide pest control and maintenance is there for any needs you may have. When I moved in I was expecting it to be a little less than perfect since it's a cheaper price point but I'm telling you everything was cleaned to perfection. Again, this place isn't new but they do their very best to provide every tenant with the best. They carpet cleaned and repainted everything. The air conditioning unit is like new and there are new ceiling fans in the rooms. If you have a one bedroom you may have a huge screened in porch. I just love everything about it. The complex is next to literally EVERYTHING but it's so quiet, safe, and peaceful. Everyone in the complex is quiet and kind. The pool gorgeous and so well maintained. It's always clean and gorgeous! The laundry facilities are so nice on the inside and very clean and convenient. The trash area is right next to every apartment because it's a smaller facility. Amenities that I myself never bother to use and yet I'm charged for them regardless. It's very simple living here, perfect for one to two people, maintenance is attentive (which is rare these days), and the property manager Alicia is very sweet. Price-wise I'm very happy and it correlates nicely to the surrounding area. The absence of a dishwasher and an in unit washer/dryer is one of my few complaints for my unit, the flooring is prone to peeling from light damage, and the only coax panel is in the living room. The complex is close to the road so you will hear slight road noise at night but it's minimal at best. There's onsite laundry and a mailbox which pairs nicely with the complex. The few neighbors I've met were in good spirits and the surrounding neighborhood is safe. There's also a Circle K right behind the complex so basic necessities are available. The complex is in close proximity to nearly everything which is a huge bonus for shopping. All in all, I love it here and am glad to have found this place. Come see for yourself!

We were dismissed immediately when we told them that the foul smelling carpet in the master bedroom needed to be replaced and we were given nothing but excuses, one after another as to why they could not replace the carpeting., first it was they did not have it in the budget, second, it was they did not have enough manpower, third it was that they had to send the dollar amount up the corporate chain and wait for an answer that never came. Secondly, stay away from building six it's not made properly. Our quiet enjoyment did not exist the entire 12 months we were there because of the knocking on the kitchen wall from the inside water pipes that were not correctly put into place and every time the upstairs people use their water our walls constantly knocked, and when we brought our video recordings of every night and day with this issue to management, nothing was ever done about it. They said they were going to fix it when the residence Upstairs moved out and they would get a plumber in which never happened. New people moved in. They replaced their carpeting which the optics of that just alone was horrible and they never had a plumber. Go upstairs and fix the problem after the new people moved in the problem still existed and My Son and I had to listen to knocking on the walls every day and every night. On top of that you pay a $95 lifestyle fee, which includes a gated community and the gate was wide open for four months. That's how long it took them to get the gate Repaired.,other several issues arose like the spare tub in My Son s room would not empty and the sink was leaking in the kitchen and when My Son opened up one of the doors in his bathroom, it just fell right off the hinges then in my master bath I had a foul smell coming from underneath the sink where I had to put air fresheners there because no one knew where it was coming from. Then the washer broke down and My Son and I had to wash our clothes in the sink. This apartment complex. The Springs at Port Orange is by no means a luxury apartment complex and the management clearly does not care about anything but collecting your rent on time..We even paid 426.00 to have the unit cleaned and after we left our 300.00 deposit turned into only 90 refund, when my son called and asked why, the young lady said it was for 2 months of water bills. WELL HOW CAN THAT BE WHEN OUR RENT WAS ALWAYS PAID ON TIME AND THE WATER BILL WAS INCLUDED WITH THE RENT!!! Scammmed!!!!! Do not choose this community to live in you'll regret it

If Bellamy wasn't the cheapest place to rent from in the area (if you choose the cheapest option) it wouldn't be worth it. But honestly outside of their market being a little deceptive, if you get good roommates, it can be a decent place to live. Maintenance is pretty receptive and timely and the gym equipment and free printer services are usefel and better than comparable apartment complexes in the area. Those who work in the office do have an attitude at times and have been a little rude and condescending but there are some who are friendly as well. Also if the gate was a selling point for the community for you, know that for more that 3/4 of my time there, the gate was not working and anyone could get in. They bank alot on college students living here since they know we wont complain as much about the facilities will pay rent regardless because for most of us, its just money from a loan. If your trying to spend as little money as possible Bellamy is ok, but better services can be found at similar prices throughout Daytona and Id suggest giving those a try because Bellamy simply wants your money and will continue to be a mediocre place to live as long as they have it.

If you happen to be home (1,000 miles away) for the summer, they will move your belongings for you and charge you, never even giving you a chance to fly down and do it yourself because they give you impossible timeframes. This is not a rent issue. My daughter's rent and bills are paid to date and have never been late. They only notify co-signors via email when it's convenient, otherwise they only email students so they can bully them. When there are two people on the lease, ALL parties should receive ALL correspondence. They switch apartments after they are assigned on a signed and executed lease. Then when you call relentlessly, they dodge calls and become evasive. They only get away with this because it's Florida and they are dealing with students. Never again! And the positive reviews here are fabrications from the students that work there and are asked to leave a positive review.
