We were impressed by the size of the facility, and all the different displays and the number of selections we had to look at. We were approached by an employee (Brianna Pflug) who offered her assistance and asked what the reason for our visit was. I was blown away by her knowledge and was so excited to see how engaged my son was, who normally is very quiet, and doesn't talk much. They went back and forth asking questions and reviewed some of his pictures, which gave her a good assessment of his skill level. She offered some suggestions on how he can improve the quality of his photos. Brianna did inform us that they did offer a series of classes at that location which turned out to be the perfect birthday gift for him from my Mom. The visit went so well, that when it came time for my son to purchase a new lens, he made sure that we were going to Unique Photo and wanted to deal with only Brianna. Brianna had suggested a pre-owned Sigma 70-200mm lens that was in his price range that he ended up testing and loved. My son was the one paying for the lens, and to be honest, I did find an identical one cheaper online, but he insisted we purchased from your place, and most importantly, from Brianna. For a 16 year old boy to pass on saving some money that he earned by cutting peoples lawn over the summer tells you a lot. You have a customer for life in my son, and Brianna to thank. She took the time to listen, she learned what our purpose was, engaged and offered suggestions, and followed up with me via email afterwards when I had some questions on how to book the class. Everyone I encountered there was very friendly, which I found very refreshing. I manage a hotel and can tell you that I have shared my experience with my team in our staff meeting as an example of someone providing exceptional customer service. Brianna introduced us to Ryan, the rental manager, on our way out. Ryan noticed a smug on my son's camera which he worked some magic and took care of it right away. The care he put into doing so was like he was doing it for a family member, and I appreciate him for doing so very much. Thank you for allowing me to share my experience and thank you to Brianna for everything she has done for my son. I see a spark in his eye when he gets behind that camera, something that I haven't seen in some time and have her to thank for that. He spent the weekend shovels snow and has asked if we can return so he can pick up some accessories. I am looking forward to returning and hope to get there this weekend. I was trying to pick out a frame and mat for a print that I am giving as an engagement gift. I explained I wanted to take my time making the right selection, as this is extra special. He pulled a mat out and a frame and said "this is it!" I personally did not love that option, and I asked if I could look around myself and decide. He then told me to take a picture and come back. He doesn't have time to waste with me. I was so confused, I hadn't been in the shop for more than 5 minutes. This guy clearly does not know the meaning of costumer service, and acts like a child if you disagree with his rushed, cheesy ass decisions. I will never shop here nor would I recommend this to anyone! He says he has been in business for 40 years.... I don't know how that is possible nor do I foresee this place being opened for another week based on my horrible experience!

Additionally Steve taught me about the wide variety of glass available for frames and helped me decide on a less-reflective glass to really show off the painting. This is the first time I ever needed something framed, so I asked for a recommendation from a photographer I know who has dozens of framed photos in his house. That person told me he had tried four other area frame stores before discovering Express Frames. He said once he became a customer here, he never looked back. I'm lucky that someone else did all the trial-and-error and price/quality comparisons before I ever needed artwork framed. Do not use Moormann's to pack paintings of shipment. Not only does he charge way too much, but the…read morequality of the work was mediocre. I took 7 paintings in for packing and Brian told me that he couldn't give an estimate until he did the work. He said that he charged $20 per hour in labor. In the end he charged $595. All the paintings were stuffed into a single box and they moved around when the box was tipped over. When I called to give him this feedback, he argued with me. He told me to try UPS or a moving company next time. I have used UPS to do some packing for me and they do a better job for 1/3 the price. I am one dissatisfied customer.

As soon as I get home and open it I realized ho dry mounted the artwork on a black board, and simply just put it back into my frame and damaged the frame. This man refused to share his insurance information with me, refuses to pay back for the money he took from me, he kept telling me that he spoke to the insurance and it's been taking care of, 3 months later after lies upon lies he says I'm not paying you sue me!!!
