Updating review - front office is nice to work with, always receptive. I think maintenance does their best, but a lot of the appliances and apartment is outdated. Mgmt did update plumbing via a 6 month project. They also added a recycling bin to the property. They are also trying to do more activities for the community (thank you Courtney) which has been nice to see. My rating shifted because I wanted to make some points. I love the open parking, though people park in the same places and it gets weird if you take their spot sometimes... also I had many issues with my heating/air conditioner/ fan in the unit 2/3rds is resolved (AC still an issue, even though the unit is new now it doesn't work when the sun is out or if it's warm... the older unit worked better in my experience). Also, valet trash service here is ok, but in the last few months they've come at random times outside of the 7-9p timeframe they give, or sometimes not at all to grab trash. I think the program itself is optional but honestly it makes sense to use it because the garbage bin is remote on the property as well. I think a huge improvement would be an expansion to the recycling program. The recycle bin as it stands is almost always overflowing. People in CO definitely want to recycle if they can, and I know monitoring a program like that is a lot but it's worth it for the environment. If there were two bins, for the East and the West side of the property with 2 weekly pickup dates that would be phenomenal. I think more people would recycle here if that were the case. Overall I'm still happy to be here, I don't need a fancy place and the amenities I have here, when in working order, are great. Courtney, Andres, and Cortana are great to work with. Rogelio, Dillion, and Benny are great and attentive to work orders, they do great work and always do their best. The community manager Rachel is nice to work with as well. The gym is great especially with the new Entry system. The grounds are nice and I hope they remain that way. read more

I have lived in Madison Park apartments for about a year now, and my experience has been amazing. One of the main things I was impressed by was the maintenance team that when needed always showed up professionally and timely. Although the appliances are not updated, the apartment still gives off a childhood home feel. I feel safe with not only the environment in these apartments but my neighbors as well. The management team is very cooperative and understanding. Although this is my particular experience, I do hope if you're looking for an apartment that brings you peace and such an easy transition, you would take Madison Park Apartments into consideration. read more

After living here a 2nd time, our experience was so much worse than the first. We had issues during our time living there. There was flooding that was not taken care of for many days. Which left the carpet in our room smelling awful. They refused to replace the carpet in that room, and just had carpet cleaners come out multiple times after I continued to complain about the smell. We also had an issue with mice coming in through the fireplace, and again when trying to get them to take care of it, I had to continue to send multiple requests. We caught 3 of them before anyone even showed up to our apartment to take care of it. Then with moving out I was told that I would receive a move out statement if we owed anything after moving out, I asked what address they would be sending it to so I could keep an eye out and never received another response after that. We never received ANYTHING, and because of the lack of communication I am now in collections because we never knew we owed anything after moving. We used to love this community, but this recent experience living with them has completely ruined that and I'd never refer anyone I know to live there after this. read more

Tried to apply and application is getting denied because wife doesn't have a piece of mail for address applied with and tho only way they can prove her identity is with a piece of mail for the last three months. We have marriage certificate social security birth certificates everything but they are denying us because her mail gets sent to a different address. Their system is garbage if they can't prove identity over that and we are now almost out of time to find an apt cause we thought they were gonna work with us but they haven't been clear on if something else like a pay stub with the right address would work until we were close to out of time. read more

We just renewed our lease for the 3rd year. Office staff is friendly and always ready to help when they can. Maintenance is on top of their game and answer in a timely manner. This complex is very clean, and the staff cater to your needs... The maintcrew is on top of their game. When things aren't prop working and you submit your request they are out in a timely manner. I love the contest that they do and the celebrations of holiday. I've been living here for three years and I have no complaint.... Sadly gonna give a two stars! Great place, great maintenance especially! The management staff is great except for Corina who has proven to be unprofessional and unreliable! Me and my spouse have been treated very poorly to the extent of her literally mocked my spouses voice to her face. She lost are rent check and didn't notify us until 16 days into the month and instead of taking responsibility she ask if we could even afford rent or had forgotten to pay. Then when asking for a corporate number she insisted that it was worth her time and quote "will not entertain this conversation" and hung up on me when asking for the information. I had to call back later and ask for another associate who was happy to help. Great place but this one person caused me to have a terrible experience. read more

These have been the best apartments I have ever lived in! Noise from neighbors is minimal, the maintenance team is extremely quick to respond to any issue, community areas are extremely clean. I have lived at Madison Park for almost 7 years. Like any community there are pros and cons of living here. The positive experiences I have had: snow is shoveled off sidewalks and stairs in an amazing timely manner, the office staff is friendly, the grounds are kept clean. The negative experience I am currently experiencing is the lighting through out the community. The parking lots, lights on buildings and lights on garages are either very dark, lights are flickering or most common, totally burned out. Lighting is important for a safe community. I have sent an email (no response) left a voicemail (no response) and most recently spoke to someone in person in the office. Their immediate response was that maintenance is not here after dark to notice those things.I felt that my concern for my safety and recently someone attempting to steal my car was not of importance to the office. I feel the office staff needs to take the renter's concern more seriously. I am sure they would not find it safe if they or a family member personally lived here. I feel it is Management's responsibility to routinely walk their community to ensure safety. They should not rely on waiting for residents to complain about things. And yes, this may mean staying til the sun goes down which most recently has been by 530. read more

This complex is a nightmare! I was told when I moved in that I could not have a covering like a curtain that covered my entire patio. That makes sense to me. I asked if I could have an umbrella and I was told yes. I later got a sunshade for my patio railing because I was spending a majority of my time on my patio during Covid. After months of having it up I received a note on my door that I was not allowed to have anything on my patio other than patio furniture. I basically told them to screw off after living here for two years. My neighbor was told that he couldn't have metal barstools on his patio at a bar Stool height outdoor table,because they looked like indoor furniture. But when they held their patio contest 2021 the winner was somebody with a wooden house chairs on their patio that had outdoor pads on top of them????? I'm glad that somebody had a good experience with Corinna bc I have not. She's been a complete b1tch every time I've had to call the office. I had a major surgery July 2020 & I hadn't taken a bath for a week. when finally could shower it was broken. I called the ofc & Corina told me it would be two days before someone would fix it! It turned out that water was running down inside the wall behind the shower. Any complex that I have ever lived in water issues were considered an ER. I ended up fixing the faucet myself. Then there is the sprinkler system that hosea down every car in the parking lot, leaving the cars with mineral stains & pealing paint. I asked the office several times in 2019 to please have the sprinklers dialed back, the office staff just sat there with blank stares on their faces bc they couldn't figure out how to Ask the grounds keepers to set the sprinklers properly. The worst of this entire situation is that the last 3 months of my lease there was a white film covering EVERYTHING in my apt, including my electronics, expensive clothing etc... I ended up having to spend hours of my own time wiping down the film bc the office ignored my phone calls regarding it. when they finally came to clean out the furnace blower motor, it didn't help. It got to a point that I was having asthma symptoms, fevers, coughing up chunks of infected phlegm. after Sending a written letter with pictures of the film and having purchased my own air quality meter, Rachel the office manager finally sent a company to clean the carpets, air ducts & I had to request that they come back and clean the dryer vents. this still did not fix the problem. I had to have a second surgery in 2021 and I ended up extremely ill because during surgery the bottoms of the lungs are collapsed with anesthesia And when I was stuck in my home rehabilitating for several weeks the white film infected my lungs again. My emails have fallen on deaf ears with this company they could care less about anyone's house living in this complex!!! and to top it off because I don't let this complex get away with ruining my belongings and giving me incorrect information they would not renew my lease. But why would I care? My fiancé bought us a house so I don't have to deal with apartment living anymore! Bye bye!!! read more

This place is the worst I have dealt with, the office staff with the exception of Corina treat like you are scum. A friends dog that I was watching got off his leash and had an incident with another dog and I took full responsibility and I am dealing with them. Ever since then I have been treated like I am a criminal and being discriminated against! I have asked numerous times by calling into the office to get my washer (which smells like mildew and stale dirty water cleaned or replaced and my dryer (which doesn't dry clothes) fixed or replaced with no luck! I wish I would have never moved in, the apartments are dirty and out dated the maintenance staff hates their jobs and the people they work for, the property manager is a joke she wouldn't give me her bosses name to contact because how I have been treated. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Don't get me started on the water, trash billing it's a scam! Stay as far away from this place as you can, you get more for your money else where! If i could give this apartment complex 0 stars i would! I had a meth head neighbor who tried to break into my apartment twice. The cops were called numerous times. Despite me repeatedly contacting the office they did absolutely NOTHING. Neglecting all responsibility for the rather shady tenant they had placed directly across from me. Instead I was told to speak to their "lawyers" and that they could not do anything. After being extremely frustrated with all of this I reached out to corporate. Who, as well as the staff at Madison Park did nothing. I was told I could move to another apartment building in the same complex but heres the catch, I had to put down another deposit and pay for my move!!! Keep in mind dealing with the mentally unstable meth head neighbor continued on for months while he was consistently banging on my door throughout all hours of the night. Then on top of all of this chaos, I come home from work one night to see the two front windows he busted in his apartment. Obviously being extremely concerned I call the office who tells me " this is normal when people find out they are being evicted". WOW, was not aware that was "normal". Thankfully he ended up getting evicted so that was over with. As a result of these circumstances, I received nothing but hostility from the office staff. I would go in to the office and would not even receive a hello and would even get dirty looks. Due to everything that occurred at my time living at Madison park I chose not to renew my lease because they had the audacity to raise my rent and I was a good tenant so I did not appreciate the disrespect and hostility that I continued to receive. Anyway, I highly advise you in my opinion to rent elsewhere so you don't have to go through what I went through. There are many other complexes in the denver metro area. read more

I wish I could leave negative stars. Save yourself the time, money and inevitable headache from burning smells throughout these units, and rent somewhere else. Madison Park Apartments are a scam. When I first signed my 13-month lease, I was promised new windows in my unit, because they were old and leaking. That never happened. I did not have a functioning air conditioner for the first week I lived there. I did not have a dishwasher for the first 4 months I lived there. I never had an operational fireplace. Water heaters were left outside of my unit for upwards of a month. Trash was piled in the parking spaces after 9pm, even though they claim the trash is picked up between 5-7 every evening. Maintenance never fixed the smell in my master closet. They did nothing about the dead animal smell in my vents. They never answered my complaint about my microwave not working. Their communication is laughable. Now they want to charge me $545 for my "move out expenses". $437 of which is related to 4 trash bags that were left outside for the trash service to pick up. My lease did not end until 11/15 at 11:59pm, and as long as trash was in bags, that was covered under my lease for the entire lease period. But now I am DEMANDED to pay this within a month. Even though they don't have to take care of any issues in a timely manner. Or even respond when they say they are going to. These people are greedy, money hungry liars who over charge for completely outdated apartments. I paid them a total of $21,645 just in rent. Not to mention an electric bill over $300 a month to keep it cool with the leaking windows. Every single person who works there should not have a job anymore. These apartments can be incredibly worth it, if only there were people who cared running it. I wish they cared enough to offer any sort of solution, but the fact is, I don't have a month to wait for a response, just so they can tell me they won't do anything to resolve it. I guess I will give them one star, since my unit is one of the only ones that didn't flood. read more

Nice Place to live, with decent management. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is coz: 1. They don't have covered/assigned parking option. Only garages which to me is little over my budget. 2. Their billing system for water/trash/sewage combined is through Aum inc. This company Aum inc. is very inconvenient to deal with. You can only mail them the payments every month, can't make payments over the phone (they simply don't do it), you have to mail them a written request for direct deposit (once again not very convenient), and they charge almost $8.00 to make an online payment with a credit card, that too master/visa only!! A big company like Simpson's group(they own madison park) shouldn't be dealing with companies like Aum inc. for their utility bills, and make it a process for the residents just to pay their water/trash/sewage bill! 3. For the amount of rent you pay here, all of their one bedroom apts (except for the one called Caramel, & which is never available) have really small size washer/dryer units (might be okay for a student, but no more!). Madison Park apartments, they don't use the term luxury apts. but they pull up under one coz of the prices. I really hope they read this review and do something about the problems I have mentioned. All being said I love the staff, and the gym! Hope this review helps! read more

Upon moving into Madison Park on moving day we found our apartment dirty with pet stained carpet and debris in the bathrooms from where previous work had been done. We were missing an air vent cover and one of the cabinets in the bathroom had been broken off. We would have walked away right then and there if we didnt have all our belongings in a truck ready to move in. After being in the apartment for a couple of months we noticed strange activity around our apartment with people loitering, including one man being arrested right outside our door. We invested in security cameras and caught several men loitering around our door in the middle of the day while we weren't home. When we brought this to the attention of the staff we were told that we couldn't have security cameras. When reviewing the lease we also found a small section saying we couldn't leave negative reviews of the apartment during the term of our lease. Summertime rolls around, we try to go enjoy the pool and it's so dirty you couldn't even see the bottom of the 4ft pool. For obvious reasons we decided to not renew here, and upon moving out recently it has taken us a month to get in contact with the office to try and receive our move out statement . Emails, phone calls, and voicemails all went un returned. For an apartment complex that considers itself luxury and is charging close to 2k for a 2 bedroom apartment, be warned it is far from luxury. read more

We absolutely loved this apartment. There was ample amounts of parking and I loved being able to park my truck on 121st street which was right next to my apartment. I never had problems with any residents and there were many small families and couples. The maintenance staff were always more than helpful and always seemed to have a smile on their face. In the office, I was always greeted by my first name and every worker was more than willing to go above and beyond. I recently/unfortunately had to move to Texas for work and already miss Madison Park so much. I realize how great of a place it was to live there and wish my current apartment could learn how to manage like Madison Park. read more

First and foremost I am a facts first type of guy. That being said my wife, kid and I have lived at Madison Park for 9.5 months now an are absolutely dissatisfied with the overall experience. There was nothing spectacular that drew us to choosing this community other than the location, since it is conveniently close to both of our work places. They are two stories tall and house 8 units per building - we chose the top floor for better safety for our kid and noise level. Our first day of leasing after a long day of moving my wife went thru and checked everything in order to complete the pre-check list. There were some minor issues but non alarming besides the range microwave not working (at all). We noted that on the check list, returned it and were inform that we would have a replacement within the week - we moved in on a Friday. This left us without a main component which most families tend to use a lot nowadays. Five days later, 3 maintenance guys came while I was home on my lunch break to fix the broken range microwave. I actually left before they were complete but I did note the difficulty they had trying to takeout the broken microwave. Four hours later when I arrived home I was greeted (at the front door) by an maintenance note specifying they did not have the right parts and had to order it from somewhere. Little did I know they took the broken microwave. Four more days went by and no one called with an update on the where about of our microwave. What an eye sore in the kitchen we pay to use - we converted to re heating things in the oven. A couple days later we took the initiative to call for an update, they had nothing to say but "we apologize". They finally installed it but manage to scrap/scratch the counter tops, left it dirty and brake a screw that holds the digital panel screen. In all it took them 12 days (to be exact) to install a new microwave. I questioned the maintenance crew workmanship - so I left them an honest review. Apparently that was not the right thing to do because the maintenance manager (who lived in the same building on the bottom) had some choice words for me as I arrive home from work as I walked by his unit. He yelled from inside his apartment "I don't know what the F*** you think but we are professionals around here", as he puff his chest out. I ignored and never said one word to him. Right then I knew our experience would worsen as the months went on. The most recent unprofessional act was when my 4 year old and I came home and there was an F*** U sticker on an orange cone left in front of our door. I've never taken on, nor had the thought to entertain them at my expense, even to avoid them if we happen to walk in the same path. I am a normal tenant that respect other tenants and I hope you all consider moving into another community whose employees treat you with respect. My family and I have no reason to re new our lease at Madison park. The only reason I rate 2 stars is because with the right employees madison park could be a better community. read more
