    It's hard to get comfortable buying thousands of dollars of furniture from a far-away liquidator, especially as a lone person furnishing a home office, but I took the leap and am extremely happy I did. I purchased a 71" L-shaped desk, a hutch for the desk, file drawers under the desk, a two-piece 71" credenza, and an office chair that were delivered two days ago and fully unpacked and assembled as needed today. The quality is top notch and the products look great. (My furniture was from Performance Furnishings in Aspen finish.) I easily could have spent $10k+ on a similar setup from name brand furniture stores; including delivery, I was all-in about $4,400 for something that in my view is far more practical and looks nicer. To be fair, expect assembling such a large order to be a full day project for 2-3 adults, and there will be janky things here and there - but it looks so much nicer, is cheaper, and is no more annoying to deal with than any major furniture store I've dealt with. I paid about $200 extra for delivery into my garage and got lucky that the delivery guy called me so a large pallet wasn't left in my driveway because somehow the order was ok to leave without signature, so that is the one thing I'd say to be alert to.

    This ended up being a great choice to outfit my new office. In a sea of office choices, the thing that made me choose Madison is the assistance I got from Brittany in configuring my furniture to fit my new home office space. I gave her the measurements and a general idea of what I wanted, and she configured everything to fit the space perfectly. There's a lot of choices out there and most of them you are buying something you hope will fit. Working with Brittany, I knew what would fit and what it would look like when it was all here and installed. You can't go wrong with Madison,. especially with that kind of service.

    please don't order any product from this retailer. I ordered a conference room table for my client from this company. when the product was delivered, it was in the box and the client couldn't see any damages right away. when the client opened box, she found that two legs are missing and both table tops are damaged. it takes for 3 weeks to process claims to replace them and additional one and half month to schedule the delivery. they requested my client to pay extra 300$ delivery fee because my client didn't report the damages on the receiving day. My client ended up agreeing on to pay the extra $300 although she is the victim of defective product.

    They send me a very expensive receptionist desk completely trashed! They refuse to take the desk back and give me a refund. As soon as we opened the boxes, we noticed the desk was in horrible shape from them. We offered to send the desk back, and they refuse to accept it back and offer a refund. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

    Notice condition of the box.  re-wrapped because the blue/green bindings had fallen off and the box was obviously damaged.

    One star is too many for these sheisters. We cancelled the back-ordered part of our order via email. They answered, asking: "What about the remaining item?" We immediately replied via email, "cancel it," but then they claimed they had shipped it already. And wow -- they charged us shipping fees equal to the value of the item -- ridiculous! They claimed we needed a special lift truck but what they sent was NOT a lift truck. The driver off-loaded the box himself and carried it to our front gate. We have CAMERA EVIDENCE to prove this! Also -- the paperwork on the box indicates that we were to inspect the item and sign off on its condition, giving the driver our signed release. Again -- CAMERA EVIDENCE -- he literally dropped the box and ran off. We were given no opportunity to inspect the chair. When we complained to the company (both the shipping company -- Estes -- and this sheister vendor, Madison, they claimed no signatures were required. Oh, really -- then why does it say that all over the box?! And why have you charged us for an enhanced shipping delivery?? We are fighting this through our credit card company. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

Prior to going in, I had found a 10% off coupon in the Reader, so the incentive to purchase from Rubin's rose proportionately. They had a vast selection of modern contemporary furniture on 2 levels. I had a hard time deciding exactly what to select, but after perusing the inventory, I made up my mind. The salespeople were very friendly and helpful, and not at all pushy. The particular chaise I ordered wasn't in stock and had to be ordered from their warehouse in Madison, WI and would take approximately 8 weeks. I was disappointed to have to wait so long, but good things come to those who wait. I got my chair about 3 weeks ago and I absolutely love it. It's comfortable as well as stylish. Can a piece of furniture be sexy? Absolutely. And I just ordered a second chair.

    I bought a Lazyboy dual power loveseat recliner in mid December of 2022, and also purchased the 5…read moreyear accident protection plan. This review is for that protection plan. Last year around the holidays, it started having occasional problems with the reclining feature. Sometimes the back wouldn't go all the way up, or the footrest might sag a little on one side, but it always self corrected within a few uses. I planned on calling after the holidays. Then we started passing around either the bad flu going around, or Covid, not sure which. Things didn't get back to normal til the beginning of March. I noticed that the recliner was having reclining problems more often. So I got out my paperwork, and called the number on it, and talked to the woman who answered. Answered all her questions. I was told that because I hadn't called within 30 days of first noticing the problem, it wouldn't be covered, but I could pay a repairman to come fix it. I told her NOWHERE on the pamphlet or receipt did it say that, and no, I wasn't paying for a repairman. She sent me an email, and in the title was the word Amazon. I didn't buy my furniture through Amazon. I went to a local store, because I thought I would get a repairman from that store, not one from an Amazon company. I'm very disappointed with Slumberland, and will think twice about buying anything from them again.
