Do NOT BUY from them. We purchased a $4000 dollar espresso (like the dark black coffee) conference table from them. Picture on website looked black. It arrived as a maroon color wood. Checked the box (thinking we received the wrong product) and it says espresso. Clearly not dark brown, or black as the picture showed. Contacted them letting them know that this would not work for us. They took it back, and refunded LESS than half of the cost of the table. I let them know we would help with shipping and restocking, but refunding less than half was clearly over the top, since the product shipped was NOT what we received. Although they were polite. They insisted they could do no more for us. We will not buy from them and warn everyone we can about them. read more

Delivery people refusing to complete the job because they claimed Madison Liquidators hadn't paid them properly. We were literally left with our conference table on the street and had to shell out more money to get it where it belonged. Damaged items on arrival, adding further delays and frustration. Assembly Nightmare Since the white glove service is nothing more than an overpriced drop-off, we had to assemble the furniture ourselves. That would have been fine--if the assembly instructions actually matched the furniture we received. Instead, we were left confused, trying to piece things together like a puzzle with missing pieces. Customer Service = A Total Joke When we reached out for help, we were met with condescension and gaslighting. Instead of support, we got attitude--like we were the problem for expecting quality service. Our service rep, Matt, was the definition of Midwest nice with a side of smug indifference. Sort of helpful, zero accountability, and incredibly dismissive. When we asked to speak to someone else? Blocked. Every time we tried, we were rerouted back to him, despite explicitly requesting another point of contact. It's hard to get comfortable buying thousands of dollars of furniture from a far-away liquidator, especially as a lone person furnishing a home office, but I took the leap and am extremely happy I did. I purchased a 71" L-shaped desk, a hutch for the desk, file drawers under the desk, a two-piece 71" credenza, and an office chair that were delivered two days ago and fully unpacked and assembled as needed today. The quality is top notch and the products look great. (My furniture was from Performance Furnishings in Aspen finish.) I easily could have spent $10k+ on a similar setup from name brand furniture stores; including delivery, I was all-in about $4,400 for something that in my view is far more practical and looks nicer. To be fair, expect assembling such a large order to be a full day project for 2-3 adults, and there will be janky things here and there - but it looks so much nicer, is cheaper, and is no more annoying to deal with than any major furniture store I've dealt with. I paid about $200 extra for delivery into my garage and got lucky that the delivery guy called me so a large pallet wasn't left in my driveway because somehow the order was ok to leave without signature, so that is the one thing I'd say to be alert to. read more

I bought a conference room table and 8 chairs from Madison Liquidators. The table is good quality however it was missing the hardware needed to assemble it. My main issue with Madison is with the chairs I bought. They were $350 each so I was expecting nice comfortable chairs, instead they are the most uncomfortable chairs I ever sat in. They used so little padding that you feel the metal frame in your back. I reached out to customer service and they are not willing to do anything. I ordered a conference room table for my client from this company. when the product was delivered, it was in the box and the client couldn't see any damages right away. when the client opened box, she found that two legs are missing and both table tops are damaged. it takes for 3 weeks to process claims to replace them and additional one and half month to schedule the delivery. they requested my client to pay extra 300$ delivery fee because my client didn't report the damages on the receiving day. My client ended up agreeing on to pay the extra $300 although she is the victim of defective product. read more

I placed an online order and once I clicked purchase, the webpage had an error and took me back to the homepage and didn't process my order. There was an issue with their website I waited a few and never received an email confirming an order. So I placed a new order. Week or two later I started receiving double orders. I called and explained to them there was an issue with the website and I only knew one order processed. ML said they'd intercept the duplicate orders from multiple shipping companies and get them all returned to ML warehouse. They didn't. I was getting pallets of stuff sent to me that I didn't need. I had to call and email ML daily and complain about stuff. Very unorganized. I couldn't lift the boxes so insisted they hire white glove company to return the stuff back to ML since it was dropped off and left at my office. ML received the items and now say they'd intercept are damaged, which was from the third party shipping company they hired, but now I'm responsible and not being refunded the total amount because of it. That is completely out of my control. Very unorganized company. I'd never order from them again. Be very careful if you order. I was also deducted 30% restocking fee when this was all in error. The company had no care it was a glitch with their website. I also had something being delivered to me from California completely separate from ML. When Estes shipping company saw the furniture was being returned, they called ML and asked if an order from Brazil Gems being delivered to my house address and not even my office address was also being returned to ML. Instead of their staff double checking the order number, ML told Estes yes and to return that too. I get a call from M a week later that they have my 3,000 geode I purchased because of their lack of communication. Complete joke. read more

One star is too many for these sheisters. We cancelled the back-ordered part of our order via email. They answered, asking: "What about the remaining item?" We immediately replied via email, "cancel it," but then they claimed they had shipped it already. And wow -- they charged us shipping fees equal to the value of the item -- ridiculous! They claimed we needed a special lift truck but what they sent was NOT a lift truck. The driver off-loaded the box himself and carried it to our front gate. We have CAMERA EVIDENCE to prove this! Also -- the paperwork on the box indicates that we were to inspect the item and sign off on its condition, giving the driver our signed release. Again -- CAMERA EVIDENCE -- he literally dropped the box and ran off. We were given no opportunity to inspect the chair. When we complained to the company (both the shipping company -- Estes -- and this sheister vendor, Madison, they claimed no signatures were required. Oh, really -- then why does it say that all over the box?! And why have you charged us for an enhanced shipping delivery?? We are fighting this through our credit card company. I ordered a desk via the online system. At first I was a little frustrated because the price showing didn't ACTUALLY match the image used on the product. I reluctantly placed my order despite the price increase - and I'm glad I did. The desk I received was packaged perfectly and resulted in ZERO damage. The product is sturdy, heavy, and easy to assemble. For those that joke about assembling things with their spouse ending in divorce....You won't have that problem here. The office desk I ordered was first lost in delivery for a week and then when it arrived almost every piece was damaged. The packaging was sub par and I'm sure the fact that several different companies had a hand in delivering the product as well as losing the product at the airport had a hand in the damage. The item that was recommended to us showed up as a coffee table instead of a table to sit at. Shipped to us, called customer service immediately, had to leave a message.... weeks past called again, left a message, finally someone called me back just to tell me I am out of luck. Overpriced, horrible customer service and a waste of money from start to finish. We ordered a reception desk. Once we received it, we realized we didn't need it. There was a charge of $291.51 for return shipping, plus a 30% restocking fee of $265.50 if the desk wasn't picked up in 7 days. After that, there is no refund. Mind you the desk cost only $885 plus shipping of $265.50. After we finally were able to sell off the desk at a much reduced price, we come to find that it wasn't even the correct desk shipped in the first place! We had been shipped a smaller and cheaper desk! Granted, we should have checked the boxes ourselves, but it goes to show you, it's been a horrible experience from start to finish. Not to mention that since I have consulted with office furniture experts who have opinionated that the desk was overpriced to begin with. Now the desk costs even higher than it did back then. My review is based on my experience with Sebastian from customer service. Placed an order on 2/14 via their website after chatting with someone from their online chat function. When I placed my order I made sure it was in stock because I needed the desk soon. A week went by and no update email. So I utilized the chat function again. I received the info that my order will not be in stock until 3/31... and no more updates. I started asking why the long lead time, was in stock when I ordered if there was a similar model, etc. No reply from the chat. (I will never use chat functions again) So I picked up the phone and called their customer service. Sebastian picked up and I told him what happened. We then opened the table and the main part of the table had a big chunk out of it. There were multiple other pieces that were damaged as well.
