I've always experienced very fast greens and their members tend to not fix divots on the course or the tee box as much as you'd like to see. The food has been impressive as of late as well with affordable beer prices. I will say that it is LOUD on the course and when the garage doors are open as the main road is full of 18-wheelers and coal trucks steamrolling through at 50+ MPH.

When we arrived, we were greeted politely by the starter and golf course staff. However, once we were inside, the attitude changed. I can't say if this is uniform of what their experience is like, or of this is just a small blip because of COVID, but the service at the restaurant and bar attached to the golf course was dismal. When we checked in for the course, we were informed that there is a $39 fee for a rider, in addition to the golf fee of $130 per person. While I was informed ahead of time that the $39 fee existed, I will say that of all of the high end courses I've ever played, this is the first course that ever actually enforced it. Not the best value, but I was fully aware of their policy, so I cannot say I wasn't informed. After checking in, we ordered food, and was told it would be ready by our tee time. When we arrived to pick up our food, I was told the food was just being boxed up, and charged for food that had not even been started. 10 minutes later I come to find out that the food had not been started, and I'm now 10 mins late for my tee time. After asking for a refund, I rush outside to hit my first tee shot, only to realize 2 mins later that they had shortchanged me by $13 dollars. Overall, the course is nice, and is in good shape. Having driven 3 hours from Philadelphia, I would have expected a better experience. If the golf and atmosphere had been better, I would have definitely been inclined to come back. After this experience, I would not spend the time, or money coming back. While it's hard to put into words how truly bad the experience was, the overall lack of professionalism and indifference to our concerns is among the worst I've seen at a high end course.

But the thing I want to rave about most is one server. Unfortunately I can't remember her name, but I was having an anaphylactic allergic reaction to some crab I accidentally ate and one of the servers rushed to me with an epi-pen and injected it into my leg, on top of giving me benadryl. My dad was asking everyone if anyone had an epi-pen, and this lady did and after she administered it, she sat with me until the swelling in the throat went down. I just wanted to thank her. Immediately after ringing it, his coworker came charging at me like a bull in Pamplona. Told me I needed to leave and nobody wanted me there.
