New waiting room at their new location at 509 E. Almond Ave. Madera CA, 93637

The new location at 509 E. Almond Ave. Madera CA, 93637 is way more spacious than their old location. Way more patient chairs also in the back. We were in and out way quicker than before.

We drive all the way from Monterey to see Dr. Nadia. The staff is awesome, and my kiddo loves all the murals on the walls, and the fact that he gets to watch movies and cartoons while he's getting his teeth cleaned. Other doctors wanted to send my then 1 year old to Stanford for an unnecessary procedure, Dr. Nadia was able to fix the problem in her office with a less invasive and more gentle way. I'm happy to say that our now 3 year old is cavity free and we are looking forward to our next visit.

    Daughters bruise on elbow

I don't trust them I went there for my daughter to get 2 teeth taken care of but they come out saying she needs 7 caps I asked for white caps or if they could do fillings instead but they told me they don't white caps for baby teeth they only have silver but later in the day I heard a women tell them she wanted white they said I will tell the dentist and it would be $300 for each cap my daughter was in the back room for almost 2 hours she came out with fat lips she also has a crack on the side of her mouth from them being rough with her mouth and she has a big bruise on her elbow she was so drugged up it took hours for her to even look normal she's complaining that her legs hurt and after looking in her mouth they seem to cut her multiple times I thought it was odd how loud they put the music on in the backroom were no parents are allowed they make you feel like this is so normal to not be with your child during the procedure but it is NOT I would recommend going somewhere else where you can keep your eyes on them at all times my daughter also peed herself and when they brought her out to me they didn't even mention it it wasn't till I said omg she's all wet what happened they said oh yeah she wet herself no care for my child at all I left there in tears on how bad my daughter looked I feel like I failed her by taken her here

The assistants were very good, but the doctor provided very poor service. The doctor needs to be more patient with her patients.

Updating my review from a year ago! So my daughter is now 3yo and no longer cries when we see Dr…read more Davis! She enjoys going to the dentist. Today I took my son. He just turned one a few months ago and this was his first dental appointment. Per usual I got a text message reminding me to schedule an appointment for my daughter. I called the office and scheduled an appointment for her and asked if I can include my son. They took his info down and scheduled an appointment same day and time for both kids. When we arrived we were greeted at the front and I signed some forms and we sat down in the waiting area. No more than 10mins later they called us back. They took dental X-rays for my daughter and they both had 2 chairs side by side ready and cleaned. The RDA were all so nice and gentle with my kids and gave my toddler an option to choose what type of polish flavor. Once Dr.Davis got around to seeing us he was professional, kind, knowledgeable, he's great with the kids and he still sings lol He took the time to explain and gave all the rational behind his recommendations. They had balloons today! My kids made it to the No Cavities Wall. This where they can write their name on a paper they provide and stick it on the wall. They also give tokens so that the kids can get a prize at the end. When we got to the prizes my daughter usually gets a ball but today they didn't have any and she said it out loud and one of the staff members heard and came to us with 3 of them in his hand and offered it to her. Such a kind and generous gesture. We were in and out of our appointment all within 20mins!!! I truly enjoy taking my kids here. Staff is friendly, they do an amazing job with the kids. Dr.Davis is wonderful! Love that they work fast too, as a mother of two who takes my kids to their appointments alone it's always nice to be in and out because managing 2 kids alone can be a bit much. This place really caters to the kids they have different play areas for the kids as well. Highly recommended!

They always have a good visit, the texting confirmation thing is awesome and really helps me keep track. The office staff is helpful and friendly, both on the phone and in person. The check in process is simple and they have you sign any necessary forms as you arrive. Any payment is taken care of at the end. Reception staff are always kind and attentive. Most forms that I need to sign are prefilled with my daughters name and the date. In the waiting room, there is a play area for kids with books, legos, a play kitchen, and hand sanitizer is available too. They have one tv in the front that plays a movie, and that movie continues in the back when they take the kids back. We have never waited long and are usually called back pretty quickly. The dental hygienists and RDAs are all very friendly. They all have kind personalities and it definitely feels like they were called to work with kiddos. The first couple of visits, as our daughter was getting used to the idea of a dentist visit, they allowed her to sit in my lap and tilted her back to check out her teeth. (I also have caught on that as she ages, there is one thing they add to the appointments each time. They kind of just brushed her teeth and felt her teeth at age 2/2.5-they they did an x-ray at 3 but only of certain angles, then they added the scraping tool, and did x-rays of more angles. I think that helps kids adapt to the dentist and also doesn't throw everything at once.) 1.5 years and a few visits later, she lays on the table and watches the movie while they work. She enjoys using the sunglasses offered for the bright light! There is also a train table in the back, and in between the DH/RDA visit and the Dentists visit they let the kids go play if they want. We usually only get about 5-8 minutes with the dentist, but this is not unlike any other dentist office. We have seen Dr. Kunkel and Dr. Addie, and we thought both were great and offered good suggestions and encouragement. They have also been clear about treatment plans, if any, and answer all of our questions. Reason for loss of star: I will say, the only thing that may not be enjoyed by some families, is lack of privacy in the main treatment area. The treatment tables are side by side 4 on each side, in an open space. I think the most patients at one time that I have seen are 6. This configuration definitely helps kids understand the visit process, they can see other kids having their cleanings and maybe younger ones catch on that "it's not that bad". But then if a kid is upset, the rest that are present hear and see that too. Additionally, the lack of privacy has lead to our family hearing what is going on with another kiddos teeth and the treatment they have to go through, when really you would think due to HIPPA, that would/should be a more private conversation. For me, and our family, we don't mind...yet. I also know they do have private rooms too- but I'm unsure what those are used for/we have never been offered that as an option for cleanings. So maybe if privacy is a concern for you and your family, ask about options for private space? With that we would still recommend!

Good thing I have a good memory because there was no confirmation call or text, no direction on what time to come in to fill out paperwork or if I can fill it out online and bring it in. When I came in I waited over 30 minutes to be seen. When I was taken to the back, the tech did some X-rays on me as usual and the dentist came in for literally 1 minute and just started blurting things out that I needed - you need this and this and this...you know this right? After 1 minute he said any questions? And I was sent back to the front. I have never been to an office that took under 20 minutes for a consultation and I wasn't aware that I would not be getting a cleaning at this time. Every office has their protocols but it should have been discussed. I am a healthcare provider myself and the quality of care I received was poor. I was told by front desk they would reach out to me in a week to go over pricing and it was now been 3 weeks and I have not heard from anyone. Was hoping for a better experience since reviews were stellar but I did not experience it.

The whole right side of my face felt like it was throbbing, my head was constantly in pain, I could not eat, I could barely sleep, and the pain was like nothing I've ever felt before. I reached out to Dr. Rami at SmileRite Family Dentistry and within 24 hours he was able to set me up for an appointment. Now mind you, I've always hated dentists but Dr. Rami is not your typical dentist. I explained to him my greatest fear was pain during the extraction. This man legitimately checked in with me every 5 minutes to make sure I was okay and not in pain. At one point I felt some pain during the extraction, he stopped the operation, gave me more anesthesia (to insure I was in the least amount of pain possible) and then VERY GENTLY transitioned back to working on my tooth. I genuinely have a completely different perspective of Dentists because of Dr. Rami. He was genuine, straight to the point, and did not try to push any unwanted procedures on me. Before operating on my wisdom tooth he made sure to xray my teeth, pinpoint the EXACT issue, and diagnose me professionally. THANK YOU SO MUCH DR. RAMI and everyone else at SMILRITE. When you have a team of 3 health professionals all working diligently to resolve your pain and health issues, then know you are in great hands. They worked fast to get me in, they worked faster to figure the problem, and the worked the fastest on the actual solution. 100% would recommend (especially to those who have a fear of dentists)!!!
