Andrea (my consultant) took all my stress away from the moment I came in. We browsed the rails together and found several options - before I slipped on "the one." I have big boobs and had struggled to feel good when trying on dresses at other boutiques but Andrea helped me pick out dresses that worked for my figure and made me feel amazing. Not only did Andrea help style, she also personally altered the sample dress I tried on and it fitted like a glove in time for my August wedding! Throughout our fittings, Andrea also offered me expert advice and tips to do "on the day" to ensure I looked and felt my best coming down the aisle - such as the best way to hold my boutique, look after the dress (which I had to bring over to France) and ways to accessorise to enhance the overall look. I am so grateful she came to my rescue... thank you so much to Andrea and Mirror Mirror for such an amazing 5* experience.

They just make women look like giant cupcakes, covered in lace. However these dresses are rather elegant, I would never wear one but they are nice to look at if you are one of "those" brides. This shop is by appointment only and is not child friendly, they discourage it as politely as they can. They have dresses for skinny and curvy women as well as all the accessories.

I did so after…read moremy initial visit to the shop having previously arranged an appointment.This I was pleased with as it gave me time to consider without presure and without other customers demanding the time of the assistant ,whom I now know to be Adile the owner of the Bridal Chest.Adile proved to be friendly,patient and very knowledgeable.Having tried on several dresses I settled on one which fitted fine.However, came to the final fitting I had lost weight,but this did not cause a problem for Adile she simply altered the dress without fuss so once again I looked great,this was confirmed by all that came to my wedding. They didnt mind my mum, grandmother and cousin being with me either which was nice. And even though it was a Saturday and they were very busy, they made me feel as though I was the only one in the shop. Dress is being delivered to them in May, which is when I go in for my first dress fitting!

After going to really snobby, stuffy and high pressured shops that did not care about my budget or what I really wanted, I cannot say enough good things about this shop. My whole experience was delightful and memorable from start to finish. When I came for my first visit, the girls were really attentive and took time to get to know me. They really took the time to hear my wedding vision. They didn't make me feel pressured to pick and buy a dress, in fact they helped me find that perfect wedding dress. It was in the upcoming season and had to return 6 a few months later. They were very good with staying in touch and letting me know when the new line arrived. When I finally returned to try the new season, the girls were again, amazing in their service. They helped me realise my vision by customising part of my dress that made it perfectly my own. They always made me feel like I was the most important customer and even with my bridesmaids, the staff shared in our wedding fun. Despite all the tweaks and customising, my dress remained within budget. The shop was really good and helped me meet my budget and creating my perfect dress. They were also very good at fitting my appointments around my hectic schedule. They paid attention to every detail and it showed it the quality of my custom pieces and alterations. I highly recommend this shop for the best wedding dress shopping experience. As part of the process, I'd already completed a short questionnaire to give the stylists a sense of what I was looking for, however before my appointment I'd found a different style dress I loved and asked if they had anything similar. They picked out a beautiful dress, very similar to the photo I showed them, straight away. I fell in love with it and it ended up being the dress I picked. The process was so easy and straightforward and I'm very much looking forward to going back for my fitting and buying my accessories. Very highly recommended.

They need about four months to put a dress and a look together, and they really do do everything. When I was last in there, one of the members of staff was sitting quietly sewing a fascinator - those things that are a cross between a hat and a complicated hair ornament. They have a beautifully produced A4 booklet that enables you to take home the look, which also has quite a bit of help with wedding etiquette and so on. Beautiful, flexible, comfortable designs, with a huge amount of attention paid to detail.
