The horchata (rice drink) was also at least twice as watery as normal. Are they cutting costs by watering things down? The outside eating area could have been nice, but it is very neglected. The pots held mostly weeds and the seats and ground had lots of old dead leaves. It's summer now, not Fall, so those leaves have been there a while. The food was very slow in coming even though there was just one other table. (Folks at that table were also complaining of the long wait). They have a pretty good indoor space that can fit a good amount of people. Their food and overall vibe was very authentic Mexican food. They gave us a bowl of chips when we sat which was nice. For starters we ordered their chips and guac which was good! The guac came with feta cheese and guac tasted fresh. For mains I got their huarache de la casa, it was layered with tortillas (kind of like a cake of tortillas), carne asada, beans, lettuce, cream and cheese.
