Items for sale were all reasonably priced and there were around 160 vendors. It took awhile to decide what I wanted/needed to buy. Finally bought 3 stained glass flowers ($5 ea) to put in my planters and a pretty necklace ($18). I wanted another necklace but it had no price and there was no answer from the artist after the cashier tried to get a hold of them which is a shame because they lost a sale). This is my fave stall in the non-food section of the West Side Bazaar. The clothes are so pretty! This is also the one I spent the most money at for my mother when she was here. I have no idea if she actually wears any of the stuff we bought here (which must have been every colour of the rainbow and more), but knowing her, she probably puts them on for work and for watching TV and "brewing up" (making a cuppa) alike. My favourite thing is that they sell those adorable little nodding cat-heads that all of the Asian places in the world seem to sell. So there is one familiar item (or set of items) among all of the colourful, exotic Burmese awesomeness. This stall seems to do slightly better than the others, but still, with the prices (which are lower than I expected) and the relative lack of business, I worry for all of these stalls. Please come in and check them all out and see what you think. If I were a hippie drunk girl from Manchester, I'd much rather shop here than at any well-known clothing store, even the local ones. That was a comment on my mother, by the way, not you. Hic.

I started with NextDoor.com to find an upholsterer and time and time, people recommended Coty Upholstery in Tonawanda. Coty referred me to Fabric Warehouse in Lockport to find the perfect fabric. So, I drove out there and a very nice, helpful lady went through the fabrics, explained what was washable, explained the pattern matching. I was very happy with my choice, and now my second hand store find looks vibrant and classic. Hats off to both Fabric Warehouse and Coty Upholstery!
