She politely pointed out to me that we had selected a Wednesday delivery date - not Sunday night. EP! It wasn't good news as we didn't have groceries really or plans for cooking going into the work week. LOM was amazing - they got us meals earlier than Wednesday and allowed us to alter our order even though we has already placed it. It is fabulous to be able to pick your protein size, starch size and veggie side. We complained that their sauces weren't gluten free and then the next menu (the menu changes every 2 weeks!), ALL sauces were gluten free...talk about responsive. He gave a fairly weak explanation to what happened and assured me that my food was still coming and that he'd offer me a $30 credit for a future order. To the restaurant's credit THEY did deliver the order (not a Hungry Eats driver) but on reviewing my account the following day there's no indication of Mike's credit.

I phoned Fed Ex to try and get an idea of the next delivery date and got directed to the online app. I filled out the info and then waited...and waited... The wait ended up being so long, we decided to go and pick the parcel up ourselves or we were going to miss giving the recipient the gift for which the event was intended. When I got to the Fed Ex centre two employees ignored me, laughing and talking. This was frustrating given what my experience had already been up to this time. However, once the employee did come to the counter, she was lovely and her manner was wonderful and very effective. I do hope when I order things that Fed Ex isn't the carrier, based on this experience.
