Michaels - My all-time favorite restaurant in Little Italy, NY. Framing the artwork was expensive but I'm very happy with the outcome.

The staff I dealt with were very helpful and friendly if they could be found. On multiple occasions I had to walk from one end of the store to the front counter to ask for someone to help me. The store is large and has just about everything you could need for your arts and crafts projects. But again, staffing seems to be an issue here. I can't say how pricing is here as other arts stores are not nearby especially for specialty framing. Even with the "special 70% off" pricing, with some add-ons like better glass and inside decorations, my 9x12 artwork framing was $200. Not cheap. Took a few weeks to have completed. But I'm happy. This Michael's also does UPS drop off, I believe. And they have balloons. If you have some patience and can deal with some not so great or missing staff, I'd make the trip.

I didn't understand why. I said, "Okay, I'll buy it online" and waited for you to pick and pack it. The manager then jumped into the conversation and told me I'd have to wait an hour or more because she didn't have time to process the order. When I waited for the checkout, the product was in the same place I'd left it. She told me it wasn't ready yet, but then she told another employee that all that was left was to print the label because the product was there. Then she turned to me and said, "The printer was broken, if you want, you can take it without a receipt." She made me wait out of pleasure. THIS STORE IS HORRIBLE. ( THE EMPLOYERS)

I had a poster framed for my husband for Father's Day and the framing department did a wonderful job. He absolutely loved it. My nephew loves drawing and anything art related. His birthday just passed and I got him a ton of stuff from here to get him started with painting. He loved it and I'm so glad. I will definitely bring him in to pick out art supplies when he needs it.

This is one of my go-to stores to purchase scrap booking items, paint, and other things needed for our mommy/daughter craft nights. Other than just crafts, they usually have a deal on candles and they usually run 3 for $10 which is a pretty good deal! You can also purchase bubbles and toys for your kids and have isles and isles of picture frames, yarn for the knitters and crochet tools. I also like to come here and get things for baking, like chocolate melts for party favors, molds and fondant mixes. This store literally has everything you need for any type of craft and hobby you could think of. Another pretty cool thing about this store is the weekly coupons they have in the paper or online. The coupon is sometimes for 40% off one item, that's not on sale or clearance and could be useful when you need it! They have bathrooms for customers and when it comes to customer service, they are very helpful and usually very friendly.

I will say, if you do not have a car, the walk over can feel a little sketchy. But once you're inside, it is absolutely worth it. We came to grab groceries but also happened to catch the Lunar New Year land blessing ceremony. We had no idea where it was being held, so we asked a few staff members. They were SUPER kind and walked us toward the front, even though it seemed like they had not been fully briefed on the event. They still did their best to help and were so patient about it. I love ready made food sections and this one does not disappoint. I grabbed blood sausage and some prepared fish and both were amazing. The blood sausage was rich and savory, great texture, not overly gamey. The fish was fresh, well seasoned, and flaky without being dry. Truly solid. My friend exclusively buys her meat here because she says it is well priced and trustworthy, which says a lot. The produce looks great, the aisles are clean, and there is even an attached cafeteria if you want to eat before or after shopping. Overall just a great experience. Clean, friendly, good food. I will absolutely be back.

Not sure why this HMart isn't on Yelp yet! I've been a customer here for a few years now…read more Compared to the other HMart locations in the area (Cherry Hill, Elkins Park), this is the newest and by far the best stocked. I haven't had any occasion yet where I haven't been able to find what I was looking for, and more! They keep it pretty clean in here too, and checkout is fast. The food court also is pretty diverse, and has a lot of good options. You'll certainly pay a bit of a surcharge, but it is probably the best quality Korean food anywhere nearby. If I had known that this location wasn't on Yelp yet, I would have taken more photos! But alas, all you get is the photo of my kimchi jjigae.

When you come into the location, we were warmly greeted, we did come in late and we were advised that it was short time frame and may not allow time for completion. My daughter really wanted to do this excursion so we put peddle to the meddle and we powered through lol! We were able to get our cases done and they were amazing and we love them !!! We had so many options and everything we wanted or thought of was there all sorts of colors, charms and plethora of options! I think the price point was excellent for the experience and cannot wait to return! I loved it and so did my daughter !!

I've…read morebeen wanting to go but it never panned out, and I find this location to be more convenient than the center city one. I finally went with my niece, and we had the best creative, affordable day out. PARKING Free and easy, even on a Saturday. We walked in without a reservation and still got our own table. The parking lot was busy, but there is restaurants and an HMart in the plaza. Deko Deko wasn't that busy compared to what the parking made it seem to be. The parking lot is ehh, the location could be better considering it's North Philly, but it's better than center city so I'm not complaining. PRICE Everything is priced by item, not time or size, which makes budgeting simple. My jewelry box was $30 and it came with two cream colors of my choice and unlimited charms (yes, really). Full pricing is listed online, which I really appreciated. EXPERIENCE The space is bright, clean, and beginner-friendly. Ye, one of the staff, was incredibly helpful! He walked us through everything and even gave tips to keep it manageable for someone who is completely new to this. I went with a pink jewelry box and ended up spending about 3 hours on it. I loved every minute of my time. My niece made two phone cases in the same time frame. They supply everything you need and wrap up your piece for a 5-day cure time before you can use it. There's also a small shop, photo booth, and adorable photo wall you'll want to take pics at. TIPS - No reservation needed unless you're with a large group - Great for all ages! Super kid and beginner-friendly - You can bring your own item to decorate but pricing may vary - Photo ops, snacks nearby (H Mart), and an easy walk-in experience OVERALL This is such a gem if you're looking for affordable indoor fun in Philly. Whether you're trying to beat the heat and still want something to do, or go in the winter time. This is a great time! It's relaxing, well-organized, and genuinely joyful. I'm already planning to go back. There was one thing that threw me off. A woman, who wasn't a staff member, wandered in, walked around the crafting tables, and started asking questions directly to me and my niece. It felt a bit invasive, especially because she clearly wasn't part of the experience. I wish staff had stepped in to set clearer boundaries for walk-ins as I'd never just assume I can wander around a studio. For me it's a respect thing.
