The staff here - primarily comprised of Joe - couldn't be better. Last summer, I found myself in need, for the first time, of making arrangements for a funeral & burial. Joe was just wonderful - walked me though all my questions regarding purchasing a plot, what kind of plot I wanted/needed, drove me around the cemetery grounds showing me which plots where available - in short, I liked Prospect Hill so much (both the location and the service here), that I've since purchased several more plots here - establishing a kind of a family plot to be near my deceased grandmother in this beautiful cemetery. And speaking to that point, they have a nice system where you can 'reserve' one or more plots you wish to purchase - you pay a small part of the price upfront, and then have a longer period of time to pay the remainder of the plot's price. If you change your mind and don't pay it, the only 'penalty' is you'll lose your down payment - but that's really just a reimbursement to Prospect Hill for taking your plot off the market while you're deciding. All in all, I really recommend Prospect Hill Cemetery - the location is beautiful, and the staff is respectful, kind, and great to work with. If I could give less than a star I would. The customer service is very poor (Especially Hunter) and…read morethey charge an arm and a leg. I called three weeks ago to get a repair and service done. I was told that it would take about 2-3 weeks to get my lawnmower looked at for a quote. I was fine with this because I understand that this is peak season, so I waited patiently. I was explained the fees and such and expected around $300-400 for everything. Anyway, I waited the almost three weeks and called back to see the status on my quote. Hunter did not give me a definite answer immediately and said he would call me back. I waited three days with no response. (apparently someone typed the wrong phone number.) Somehow the repairs/service then went up to about $760 dollars for new blades, a spring service and a belt replacement. I respectively declined after speaking to a few people about my quote. My lawnmower brand new is around $1700. After declining, Hunter said he would call me back with another quote for the pick up fee and the diagnostic; which I am not sure why they need to call back for that. The diagnostic fee and the pick up for the lawnmower ended up being over 100 dollars, which I find ridiculous. (My father in law is picking up the lawnmower at the shop now, so they never had to even bring my mower back to me.) I doubt the diagnosis took the techs very long and this fee was never explained at the beginning. I asked Hunter if that fee was added after I decided not to do business with them and that is when Hunter began passive aggressively arguing with me. I tried cutting him off saying I was just voicing that I feel like their services are way too expensive and Hunter continued to argue with me. At one point, I had to tell Hunter that I found him very unprofessional that he was still arguing with me after I began giving him my credit card information. His response was "I would expect a comment like that from you". That is not how you treat customers period, even if the customer decided that they were too expensive. Most of my life I worked customer service and was a manager in the optical field for five years. When customers complained that my products were too expensive I just listened apologized and kept it moving; never would I of argued with them! That is a lesson Hunter needs to learn. I hope anyone who reads this finds a better lawnmower repair shop with better customer service, a faster turn around time for quotes, and one that has fairer repair/service rates!

I told them what was wrong with it and they said fine. They tested the other pulleys and the spindles that the blesses are mounted on and said all should be replaced. I authorized the repairs and didn't hear back from them. 5 weeks later I called and they said they hadn't received the parts. I went onto Amazon and got the parts in less than 3 days delivered to my home at A cost of $175. They were going to charge me -almost 300 for the parts and another 400 plus to do the rebuild for a total of almost $800. So I called and said I'd be picking up the mower deck. I found it out back with a bunch of other parts. I rebuilt the mower deck in a little over an hour. Literally fewer than a dozen bolts. Then I receive a bill for $104 from them for their diagnosis- you know the one that I gave them in the first place. This place is terrible. Their customer service is poor. They are disorganized and can't keep track of anything. It's amazing they are in business at all. I will NEVER go there again. never.
