One lesson learned: If you're a "weekend-warrior, home-owner" type like me, DO ask how to load the paper SNUGLY into this beast, particularly if you plan to use thick paper like 20 or 36 grit. This machine is used by professionals. Homeowners will end up loading, re-loading and re-RE-loading heavy grit paper a few times before getting it snug (less than 1/32" play) on the drum. The good part: Once it's on snug, your paper can last up to an hour of continuous sanding! (1/8 inch or more of play between the drum and the paper results in immediate failure of the paper: Within seconds you'll hear a loud slapping of loose paper on a high-speed drum hitting the floor)

This isn't a review I want to write, but these folks really went above and beyond…read more Unfortunately, I delivered a stillborn baby at 8 months. From the moment I was told, "There is no heartbeat," I had a million decisions to make. Funeral Choices made that so much easier. I knew I wanted my baby to be cremated, so I could bring him home. It wasn't expensive and Tom, the director, personally handled my son. He referred to him by name and was very sensitive and caring to me and my husband. I even got to see my baby prior to cremation. He was laid upon a table in a nice room. I'd requested that his blanket be wrapped around him for the viewing. He looked like an angel and it's how I'll always remember my little guy. We were allowed to spend lots of time with him and no one ever interrupted or rushed us out. I hope that no one has to go through what I did, but if you do, please know that when it comes to cremation, this is where you want to go. Everyone I encountered was kind and thoughtful. That means a lot at a time like this.

I was actually told the mishaps I. My sisters case were my family's fault because we changed our minds several times over the couple of days preceding the service. We had visited several other places but this is the place me and my mom loved the most. They were very welcoming and reasonable with packaging prices. Even tho the facility is a little smaller on the inside it was very clean, comfortable and has a home feeling. Nobody enjoys visiting a funeral home but they made us feel at home. Our family normally uses another funeral parlor for our family but they are no longer around which put us in search mode. My mom really connected with the manager once she told us it was women owned.
