But the real stars are on the menu - all home made by the lady of the house - mostly with an Irish / English twist, and all with character and great taste. Personal favorite is the Saint Paddys pizza - a variation on the staple of corned beef and cabbage - served up on a pizza base with a gorgeous mustard sauce. Friday fish fry is baked and crumbed - nothing deep fried and is a pleasant change from the norm. If possible skip eating in the main dining room - it mostly lacks the atmosphere of the front bar and games room - and instead soak up all this place has to offer while sitting at or alongside the bar. The place gets full and busy on Friday nights but is never rowdy and the TVs are well placed and not obtrusive.
