Ive been sitting here for the past 30 minutes and no one is here. I have placed 14 calls and no answer. Straight to voicemail and the box is full so you cant even leave a message. This place is so unprofessional. I had previously gone here another weekend i was in town for nipple piercings and the piercer was rude and my left piercing is crooked. I guess they dont care about their customers. If i could give zero stars i would.

***PLEASE READ - DO NOT BUY A GIFT CERTIFICATE FOR YOUR LOVED ONES!!!…read moreI received a certificate, several months ago: Nobody answers the phone Nobody returns calls No APPTS in the evening or weekends I want my money back & they said no we don't give money back for certificates, you can donate it to a charity? This was a certificate for a massage. I am more in need of a massage from all the stress trying to make an appt. Lordy I received 70.00 from a 100.00 certificate which was like pulling teeth!!! However, the rest of my certificate 30.00 was kept by cloud nine. I am currently going thru BBB to get my money back for my Mother's Day Gift Certificate. They are now saying I had an appointment. I never had an appointment and was never there or notified that I had an appointment. Very shady to say the least. :( Happppy Mothers's Day to me!!!

I have 6 tattoos now, all but 1 have been done at Evolution Ink, my first 5 were done there. I had…read morebeen wanting a big piece on my leg for a few years now. I only got my first tattoo last year. So I didn't 100% know what I wanted done for my big piece on my leg hence why I got 5 other smaller tattoos first. Anyways I got my very first tattoo after seeing a women empowerment flash sale at Evolution Ink. I felt the tattoo that I got really jumped out at me and represented what I was going through my life at the time. Having a shitty president neing elected, realizing how many stupid people in this country actually voted for him and so on and so on hahaha Anyways all my tattoo experiences at Evolution Ink have been amazing and I dont think I ever would have really realized that unless I had this recent experience at this other tattoo place. I know no one asked for my review but I felt it was needed cuz everyone needs to know how awesome the ladies are at Evolution Ink!! My recent tattoo experience was so disappointing compared to all my other experiences at Evolution Ink. When I first arrived to my appt after paying a hefty deposit (more $$$ than I've paid for any of my tattoos) the artist who was going to do my tattoo was not even prepared for my appt. It took over an hour for him to even put my design together that I emailed him a week before my appt. So that was strike 1 for me, all the ladies at Evolution Ink have always been ready at the time of my appt and if they were even a few minutes behind they apologized for running behind, didnt get that at this place. Strike 2 was when the artist decided he wanted a break only 45 minutes into my tattoo. Apparently the food truck was at the shop & he felt it was time for a lunch break. I understand it takes longer for a bigger tattoo piece but to already break 45 min just seemed a bit weird. I had a 2 hour tattoo that Ashley didnt even break for once! Strike 3 was the artist was constantly being interrupted despite other artists not being with a client, apparently this artist was the only one who could talk to other customers. My tattoo took almost 5 hours when I think it probably could've been done in 3. The constant interruptions and the artist being on his phone frequently was just another touch to my bad experience. Lastly the part that really did me in was the lack of communication between me and the artist while getting my tattoo. I felt like I was at home each time I got a tattoo with the ladies at Evolution Ink. This other place I felt like just another $$$, not once did the artist ask about me or even ask if I was doing okay. If you have made it this far I applaud you but my overall message was that the ladies at Evolution Ink are absolutely fucking amazing and I won't be going anywhere else for my tattoo needs!

I made the big mistake of going to MADD Studios to get my other nostril pierced (BigTop did the 1st one btw) bcuz BigTop had JUST closed and my Sister was visiting from Ohio & we REALLY wanted to get stabbed together long story short I just changed the jewelry and my piercing is SO CROOKED NOW I have to get it re-pierced. FFWD to 2 weeks ago, I again had the itch to get stabbed so I went to BigTop (Peoria) and my guy was there! I asked him what did he suggest and he suggested I start an ear project. He did my Tragus & 2nd holes and I LOVE THEM they are healing beautifully and he talked me through the entire process leaving me calm and confident I can't wait to do my conch/rook in a few weeks! The shop is very clean, the staff is super knowledgeable and kind, and the prices are reasonable and worth the quality of the service you receive! I'm VERY picky about tat shops because of the risk of blood borne pathogens but I'm never scared or worried when getting any body mods here. 10/10 across the board! Whether you are a pro at getting piercings or more on the timid/anxious side, you're in good hands with these guys!
