They have the right gloves to go with the right bag and shoes to match. If you go to high tea, they have the hat for you. This is my go to place. Once I needed fusha gloves to go with my fusha hat I called they had them! They have sales frequently, the prices rang from 20.00 and up. Their stock is so versatile you will not show up with the same outfit on as someone else lol. Oh did I mention they have accessories, well they do. Also they let you look around without hounding you, but they are near enough to help if you need it. Next time you need something nice consider this place. Helpful, elegant and affordable. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was beyond unacceptable…read more I visited the Oxon Hill, MD location on a Saturday morning and waited in line for over 2.5 hours--along with approximately 50-60 other customers--while only ONE employee was operating the entire store and register. We were told that multiple staff members called out, leaving a single manager ("One") to handle everything alone. While I empathize with the employee, this reflects a serious failure in management and corporate planning by Ross Stores. There was no backup support, no urgency to resolve the situation, and no communication to customers about how it would be addressed. A 2.5-hour wait to check out is not just inconvenient--it's unreasonable and raises concerns about customer safety, store security, and employee conditions. One customer was elderly utilizing assisted walking device. They didn't announce cashier shortages until 2 hours into our waiting in line. If the items that I was picking up were not urgent, I would've walked out and many people did. This experience completely changed how I view this location. I strongly urge corporate to review staffing practices and implement contingency plans so customers are not subjected to this level of neglect. I hope this is taken seriously, as no customer should have to go through this.

I was telling my husband today. They are not the most friendly in there to begin with and then top it off with a dose of insult in the customers face. Of course she called the store to complain but who knows what happened if anything at all. Best I can do is not spend my money where my service is not valued.

RACIST WORKER ALERT She was so unprofessional disrespectful…read morecursing and getting agitated simple for asking the total of the prices being rung up sp far she stopped and looked at my mother and said if she rings the rest fo the stuff on there which she understood as if we're taking it all and which was a yes just wanted to know how much was so far (with only the handful of items that were from someone else but under the same transaction before it all became a total and having to pick out the receipt) She then after 4 times of saying she wants this on there saids the total and I politely said "thank you, that's all I wanted to know" she the starts to get disrespectful and reminds me that my mother had said she wanted it all on there and I said yes but I wanted to see how much the total for those items before the rest of things was and she then started with her rant on how she don't need this job its her part time and quote "fuck this job, I don't need it this is just something for me to do" and I said ma'am youre on that side of the register I work customer service too and you're being unprofessional and ignorant cursing and arguing over a price check in front of at least 3 kids around and she then tells me how shes an adult and she doesn't need to be shit talking with me and which to I still try to escalate things again and say ma'am you're old enough to be my grandmother or aunt and you're cursing and getting loud when you choose to take this job and shes going on and on to why im even there and then stops and said you want the stuff or not im not the one to be tried and I quote again said "I CAN MAKE A CALL AND THEY CAN BE WAITING FOR YOUR FATASS OUTSIDE" to when I said excuse me you're threatening me after you see my color and your I am brown and in this day and age we're black n brown unite and she then giggles and said "you're not brown you're Hispanic that's why they're gonna be waiting for you outside" that was completely uncalled for and to make thinga worst when she had started on her racist rant there was an interracial couple ( a Latina young lady and a black young man) with 2 toddlers and an infant next to us and I was just floored. The next person being rung up next to us after the couple left stepped in and commented how she needed to continue doing her job and she's doing the most and its disgustingly racist to which the worker KATRINA didnt respond to her. I asked for the manager on the clock which was a nice man with dreadlocks and as nice as he's always been being that we've started to go to that store since it opened so we've seen him before n he rung us out before as well today he was completely useless and it might be because it was a busy time or they just had enough of that lady and her rants because when I started to speak she started to curse and talk over me which he had to tell her to stop and keep doing her job MIND YOU SHE STILL RINGING MY stuff and my mother teenage sister and toddler son asking why she's being rude why shes saying bad words why shes calling me fat body shaming me and threatening with what we can only assume is ice giving the days we're all living in now in the country and needing to stick together. I had to sit there and tell my 4 year old that we don't say bad things to people or bad words and to never argue with someone whose older than him in the mean time while my mother in the verge of tears telling her teenager not to comment on the matter that sometimes people are just cruel and unprofessional. I was given nothing but the lady name from the receipt from the lady after the manager didn't let me get through HALF of the things that happened and said he will talk to his boss tomorrow and that's it. NO APOLOGIES NO GUIDANCE ON WHO OR WHERE I CAN CALL AND COMPLAIN OR WHAT WILL BE DONE ABOUT IT nothing nothing nothing nothing I had to ask the security guy who again we're regulars and we know familiar faces and vise versa gave me more information where I can reach out to Burlington and go from there. its so unbelievable I have never felt so unsafe and disrespected before

This General store has a nice collection of comfortable casual clothing and accessories. You can feel the high quality and the clothes are very reasonably priced. Apparel is more classically styled so it never gets outdated. Most of the items seem to fall into 2 fit categories. "Roomy" which is slightly oversized and "Classic" which fits more naturally. However, I prefer the "Fashion" fit which isn't tight but more aligned with my natural curves. Aside from clothes, they have specially designed accessories and stuff for your furry friend. Staying true to its roots, philanthropy is always is full swing. This general store partners with local animal shelters to host dog adoptions events.
