He then assumes I was looking for a particular size. I already knew my size, but you can't tell that to someone who believes otherwise. He also only decided to help me when he saw my parents walk in, so lack of customer service on his part was huge, as I walked in 30 mins before my parents and he didn't help me then. Regardless of the extra nonsens, why does it take 5 times for someone to say "NO" for you to get that you are not needed at those moments......

I had an absolute outstanding experience during my visit yesterday!…read more My sales associate, Ryan, was fabulous from start to finish. He was incredibly patient, detail-oriented, and demonstrated exceptional product knowledge. Instead of just pushing products, he took the time to truly listen, asked insightful open-ended questions, and made sure he understood exactly what I was looking for. He connected with me on a personal level, which made the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable. To top it off, the tailor on duty was wonderful--she stepped in, offered valuable input, and made the whole process seamless. This was my first time shopping at Men's Wearhouse for suits, and thanks to Ryan and the alterations team, I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else going forward. What a hidden gem!…read more Found this eclectic boutique, located downtown in the Capitol Theatre building, after coming across its website. It's pretty much a treasure trove of cute, on trend clothing, fun accessories, whimsical giftware and some home decor, including tea towels, glassware, blown glass, candles and more. I have now stopped in on a few occasions and picked up some artisanal soaps, jewelry, and candles, plus a jewelry box and glassware. The girl that waited on me last time was super nice and helpful. The attention to customer service was amazing. The carefully curated stock is varied, boho and chic. It's quickly becoming my new favorite go-to boutique in town. Prices are actually pretty decent and affordable for the most part. I thought it's a great place to pick up a gift for the hard to shop for friend or relative. I found a really beautiful but dainty handcrafted necklace here recently that I think would be a great gift for my sister-in-law for Christmas. Don't forget to scope out the clearance/sale area in the back- it's chock full of good bargains.

I don't own a nice suit. I work for a company that is extremely casual. So when I have a family…read moreevent and need a nice sports coat or suit to wear, I'm out of luck. Finally I had a little money saved and thought I'd hit up Kositchek's for a suit. Cards on the table: I didn't save enough money. Kositchek's is absolutely top of the line. I walked out without anything. So why five stars? Because I worked with Lad while looking for a coat (before finding out the price range was more than I had). During fitting and selection I could tell Lad wasn't just trying to put me in any coat, he really was considering how I could get as much use out of one jacket as possible. He really cared about me being a happy customer and my specific wants/needs. Upon learning my low price range he took me to their clearance section. Still a bit much for me unfortunately, but even then he helped me by guiding me through what I should look for at a retail store. He advised, he suggested brands and stores and I never once felt judged for not having enough money to spend there. If I ever do spend real money on a NICE suit, Kositchek's would be where I'd go. No question. Thanks Lad for being extremely helpful to work with! (And sorry again for not doing my research first). :)

I even interacted with a person who traveled from California, so Chicagoland is not a record distance, but worth the travel and two to three-night stay.
