I was lucky enough to partake in a Macs adventure trip to Germany's Bavarian alps. Macs planned everything from the stays to the transport options which made planning so much less stressful. The app tracks your treks really well. I have issues navigating and sometimes trails change but Macs is great about sending people to update the directions and keep everything as up to date as possible. If you ever run into an issue, someone is contactable to assist you. Sometimes trails close so be open minded and flexible if your trek is in the mountains. I can't wait to plan my next Macs adventure trip... I'm thinking Italian coast :)

Macs Adventure is a wonderful company and I love the wide range of trips that they offer. I've been on two so far (Amalfi Coast and Tour du Mont Blanc) and am going on another one year. Both places were beautiful and had some incredible hikes. Their trips are super easy to book and all the staff there are friendly and helpful. They took all the stress out of planning and booked us beautiful accommodations every night. I can't recommend this company enough and look forward to travelling with them again!

My daughter and I took the Southern Amalfi: Cilento Coast Short Break trip in October. It was a magical trip! Our accommodations in both Paestum and Santa Maria di Castellabate were fabulous, the people we met were so kind, the scenery was beautiful, and the food was delicious. We leisurely toured the Greek ruins and had beautiful views of the Tyrrhenian Sea on our hikes. It was quiet and felt like an Italian local vacation escape rather than a busy touristy spot. MACS was so easy to work with. I highly recommend MACS Adventure and this relaxing short break.

Absolutely loved my trip with Macs Adventure on King Ludwig Way! Everything about the trip was hassle free and well thought out - the luggage transfer was seamless and the app was fantastic when trying to navigate confusing path signs. We stayed in both popular tourist areas and small towns where the only restaurant was the one at the hotel (phenomenal nonetheless)! I've done a lot of European travel previously, but this trip was a great way to see more "local" spots and get a feel for the region outside of the tourist hotspots. The accommodations were all very nice, clean, and hospitable. The food along the way was amazing! Macs Adventure is truly the best of both worlds - it allows you to have a self guided experience at your own pace, while not having to worry about the logistics. There's the peace of mind knowing theres someone to call if there are any major hiccups while on the trip and I would absolutely go on a Macs trip again in the future!

The price was excellent for a three-hour tour. We were originally scheduled for a tour a few days later but rain was in the forecast so Tom let me and my husband switch to an earlier day. It was almost 100° out the day we had our tour, so we appreciated the frequent stops to make sure we were drinking enough water and staying hydrated. He brought a ton of water for each of us and was constantly asking if we needed more water. He also brought sunscreen. With all of our frequent stops our tour ran almost an hour late. That wasn't a problem because we didn't have anything else scheduled afterward, but we were starving because our tour started at 10:00 and ended at 2:00. I would rather have started the tour at 9:00 instead so we could have finished earlier. But I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the Denver area. It really helped us to get to know the city better and find our way around.

You can tell they genuinely care about your experience and love what they do. We really appreciated the laid-back vibe and aloha spirit even all the way out here in Colorado! The railbikes were easy to use and surprisingly smooth. We pedaled through quiet farmland and open skies--it was beautiful and relaxing. But heads up: if you're going as a couple, it's a bit of a workout! We definitely recommend going with four people if possible to share the pedaling. It makes the whole ride a lot more chill and fun. If you're anywhere near Erie, don't miss this experience. It's perfect for families, friends, or anyone looking for a peaceful adventure off the beaten path. The day of the ride, Jessica and Chris were waiting for us in the Staunton State Park Visitor's Center, and we spent 30ish minutes making sure our two bikes were properly fitted to each of us. Their process was very thorough- taking our weight into account to adjust the front and rear suspension, watching us pedal around the parking lot, and even installing SPD pedals for me. They also equipped us with a spare tube for my tire, mini bike pump, a bottle of water, and a snack. Before we left, we shared our trail plan for the day, and Jessica's incredible depth of knowledge gave us the insider tips and let us know what to expect and special spots we should stop at that we hadn't known about. Chris stayed with us for a little bit at the beginning of the trail, offering us tips to adjust our breathing for the elevation (we're coming from Michigan) and what to expect on the trail. At the end of the day, we'd considered the whole experience to be wholly worthwhile. The only drawback is that since we had less time than we'd have liked to adapt to Denver elevation, this seemed like the first time we'd seriously considered ebikes. I hope it's something they're able to offer in the future. Otherwise, please check out this business if you're looking for an MTB rental company. We look forward to seeing them again the next time we're in Denver.

Devon is such a wonderful tour guide; incredibly accommodating and professional. He was really informative about the area. Stopped to let me get a close look at elk and even a moose. We had a lovely lunch at a cafe at the top of the mountains. I loved the weather, it was 80 when we left, then it rained, then it hailed, then it snowed! On the way back, Devon casually tosses out, "Do you like pie?" WHO doesn't like pie?! He stopped at a little place he knows where a woman in her 80's makes homemade pie (Colorado Cherry Company), but unfortunately, it was closed (so whe had to stop for ice cream further down the road). Devon and I talked throughout the entire tour (which was about 7 hours) about books and our love for animals and nature and our lives; as we drove through some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere. It was one of those few days in my life that I will remember and cherish; when you have a great connection with both nature and with another kindred spirit.

Also, with the 114th anniversary of the Titanic approaching, I figured I should learn more about the disaster's one of the most prominent survivors. My tour guide (Eli) was very informative and they talked about a lot of the inticracies of the house that I wouldn't have noticed if I had wandered around the house by myself, including details about the staircase and the method of constructing it, the wallpaper, stained glass, etc. I was particularly fascinated by how Margaret Brown leveraged her high profile status as a Titanic wreck survivor to fight for various causes such as women's suffrage, who she really was behind the legend of "Molly Brown," and the history of the house after its sale (how it became a group home for girls, and their antics of painting the lions up front and throwing things at the people passing by on the sidewalk). Definitely grateful for Eli's expertise -- shows they're really passionate about passing down the local history to the community and beyond. I left with more knowledge than I expected to learn. Thank you Eli! It was also great that the house itself contained a good number of original pieces of the house from back in the 1910s, which isn't always the case with historical houses. There was also a little back room that had original pieces from the White Star Line so people could see the plates and other things that passengers on the Titanic would have used, as well as a super detailed model of the ship itself. Will definitely be recommending this tour for anyone who plans to go to Denver.
