Riding the e-bike was easier than I thought it would be, and the bike, which was in great working order, took us up hills that I never would have been able to ride on a regular bike. The views from the top of those hills were amazing, and riding the bike made the best views easier to get to. All in all a wonderful experience that I highly recommend.

No explanation of what the purpose of the speaker was so we just synced it with our iphone and played music (which the car behind us did the same so it was dueling music). I think the concept of Colorado Railbike Adventures has so much potential and they could do so much more to make the experience unforgettable but unfortunately, there's was nothing that made me want to come back or spread the word to try this experience. It was 3 of us, including my 8-year-old son, and the conditions couldn't have been better--just a little snow, some mud, and plenty of opportunities for big splashes (which my son absolutely loved). We did a 5-hour rental, which felt like the perfect amount of time to explore without feeling rushed. The equipment was in great shape, and even the truck used to haul the ATV and trailer to the trailhead was well-maintained--everything felt professional and dialed in. The team really made the experience stand out. Everyone we interacted with was fantastic, and Andrew in particular was a superstar--he handled both checkout and check-in, made everything easy, and clearly cares about making sure customers have a great time. This is a terrific way to get out of your car and experience the authentic feel of Golden, Colorado.
