I reserved tickets online. We were about 10 mins due to getting on the wrong train. I called to let them know and change my time but was told as long as you arrived within 20 minutes of scheduled time, you're good to go. Honesty, it was a fun time. We got hot and tired fast, especially with some of the games. They have free lockers to put Some of the games are very active with running around. Comfortable shoes and clothes you can move around in, is a must! I like how each of the rooms have several games to choose from, some are collaborate and some are competitive. 75 minutes was not enough time. This is something a family could do for 2 hours or so as time flies quickly. A feature I like is that is no one is waiting to go in the room you're in, you can continue playing. This is great as you can "level up" in games. Staff we encountered were friendly and helpful! I wish there was a place like this where I live, in NC.

Our group ranged from 8 to 28 years old and everyone had a great time staying active, laughing, and challenging ourselves. It's definitely one of those places where you don't even realize how much of a workout you're getting because you're having so much fun. The only thing I wish was a bit better is the cooling situation outside of the room! After working up a sweat, some extra AC or fans would have been really nice for a quick cooldown. That said, it didn't take away from the overall experience. We had an amazing time and will absolutely be back for more!

The energy in the room was lively, social, and full of people genuinely excited to try bites from some of the best local spots. There was an impressive variety of vendors, cuisines, and creative dishes that made every stop feel like a new experience. It's the perfect event to attend with friends while discovering restaurants you may not have tried yet. Everything I tasted was delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere never lost its excitement and charm. You could feel how much pride each vendor had in showcasing their best bites. It's a fantastic way to celebrate the local food scene all in one place. The only reason for four stars is timing and quantity -- the two-hour general admission window (with it being a sold out event) didn't feel like enough time to make it to every area. A few vendors had already run out of food by the time we reached them (lines to get samples were also long), which was a little disappointing. It would be great to see either a slightly longer event window or for vendors to come with more servings. Overall, it's still an event I would absolutely recommend and definitely attend again!

I went with to the Animals Aglow lantern festival with some friends and we loved glancing at all of the beautifully decorated lanterns around the garden. I love that they included all different types of lanterns--mechanical lanterns, musical lanterns, ornate, and simple lanterns. I can tell that they really thought about the entire design when they added each of these installations to the zoo. They were also easily accessible to kids who have physical disabilities, which is a huge plus. One of the things I wish we had available when going to the zoo is a digital map that tells us where we're going, because even though I've been several times I always get lost lol. BUT I am today years old when I found out they ALREADY have a digital, interactive map that directs you to all of the exhibits in real time. (Found that out on their website!!) I wish I would've known this sooner but it's awesome that they created this concept! But what can I say, I love the Zoo and am looking forward to their other exhibits and amenities opening this year!!

They have hundreds of artists create pieces live in front of you throughout the event and then they auction off the pieces to fund the studio. I was immediately intrigued and addicted. We have been every year since. Since that first event, St. Louis City Open Studios and Gallery has become one of my top "kid friendly" places in this city. They offer fun and educational art-centered classes for kids as well as open studio hours six days a week. Your "little" can learn how to throw some clay onto a wheel, string their own necklace, or illustrate their own book. My personal favorite is the kid and me class on Saturday afternoons. For one hundred bucks you get six weeks of uninterrupted quality family time with all of the art supplies as well as an art instructor provided. Who knows...you may have given birth to the next Picasso and never have known it with all that time they spend on the Wii. I am all for getting out and getting hands on and SCOSAG provides the perfect environment for good ole fashion fun. Love Live Creativity!

Also, it's very open and I can see all parts of the park so even thought it's not fenced, it just feels safe. The kids love that part of it is a tree that you climb inside. Bathrooms are close so great for potty training toddlers who have to go RIGHT NOW. There are 4 picnic tables in the pavilion, 2 drinking fountains and some sunshades with benches. We had our kids' birthday party there and it went extremely well. Super affordable to rent! The only downside is one parking lot is a flat trek to the playground but a longer one and the other parking lot is fairly close but you have to walk down a big hill and so then also back up. So anyone who is more limited with ambulation or someone who fatigues very quickly may not find this playground particularly accessible. Otherwise it is a super fun and simple playground!
