The boat's engine failed on the water, leaving us drifting into a rocky shoreline in dangerous, choppy conditions. Neighbors ran down to help, children were crying, and several people were injured. The company told us not to call the Coast Guard (others did anyway) and promised help--but instead sent two men in a truck who could only take three people, stranding the rest of us with small children and no keys or phones. When we finally got back, the owner was rude, blamed us, insisted his boats never fail, and tried to charge us the full rental plus $2,000 for damages--on the boat that had broken down. Check the Google reviews before booking--this isn't the first time this has happened. Spend your money elsewhere.

They treated us so well and were so attentive and kind! The boat was very clean and organized. They had everything labeled inside which was very helpful and they brought all of our items both on and off the boat. This was really helpful with two small children. The boat has a boat canopy which kept everyone including the children shaded. they were easily able to nap and enjoy a beautiful day on the water. We can't wait to go again soon! Drew had it in the water waiting for us, gave us the how tos and we were on our way to float, tube and enjoy the day on the water. We were back 20 minutes early and Drew was waiting for us. I was given three different prices from a pamphlet we got from the resort office, their website, and what rates I was given by Tony over the phone. $175 for a three hour rental is ridiculous!!! I was then given attitude over the phone and told to check their website which I pulled up while on the phone. When I told Tony the rates on the website were different from what she was telling me she told me they don't advertise their half-day rental. What a joke! To put the icing on this over priced cake when she asked me if I wanted to buy the insurance I asked what it covered. She told me if the machine was damaged I could still pay up to $700 worth of repairs. That's what your $35 insurance buys the chance to still pay money if someone crashes into while on the trail. Bring your own helmet cause those too are over priced at $25 a pop. In short, look elsewhere and save your money. We came to the UP to enjoy the freshwater and these guys are too salty on their ATV/UTV prices!
