A circular arena has the advantages of theater in the round - with no bad seat in the house. Even top row nosebleed section isn't that far up compared to Fieldhouse-style arenas. The game experience is hyped with video and sound and pre-game traditions. The concourse is expanded in recent years to include more concessions and more square footage. Enjoy the various athletic and historical displays before or after the game.

this is me post game at the arena. can u can clearly see i'm struggling. invest in some fucking AC pls i am dying.

Absolutely ZERO air condition in this facility. I am not the one to enjoys sweating balls while enjoying a sport. i'm baking as we speak. someone get in this please!!!!!!

A tremendous venue for college basketball. Great sightlines. The crowd is loud. Great staff. Ushers and concession employees are fabulous. The crowd knows and respects the game. A real taste of the Midwest. Highly recommended!

What better place to see Big 10 basketball than Mackey? I found some great seats on Stubhub and I took my 12 year old son here in late 2019 to watch the Boilermakers play during winter break. He and I have seen a few games but they were on the opponent's court. It's not as fun to watch a game when the majority of the arena is routing against the team you are routing for. Mackey, of course was a 180 degree turn on that. Yes, Mackey magic was in full force that late December afternoon. The team introductions, the band, the energy and of course, the game. On top of that, we ended up winning by 26 points.

    Boiler up!

Nice arena to find reasonable tickets and maneuverable if you are bringing little ones. Parking garages within a few block walk allows you to avoid the traffic around the stadium at game time. Watch groupon, etc for cheap tickets. A great way to see sporting event as a group or with a few kiddos without spending a pay check. Staff were extremely friendly. Concession prices comparable to other venues.

Fun arena, great energy and history. Simple concourse. Parking may not be ideal. A mile hike to enjoy some food or drink before or after.

What a gem of a park that will serve the area for decades to come. The Lafayette Aviators (essentially a college summer league) play their games here. The majority of players (I would estimate) are division 1 or 2, trending toward 2. But the baseball is good, these are players who know how to play. It is functionally identical to Kokomo Municipal (which I have also been too). Again there simply is everything to love about this stadium if you are a baseball fan and a perfect way to spend an evening watching summer baseball. Parking is a bit tricky in the area if you have never been FYI. It felt (?) like parking was limited to lining the nearby residential streets, perhaps I missed something larger.

The staff who had originally seated us in the wrong seats were rude when they moved us. They did offer seats in different sections. I spent over $100 there tonight but NEVER AGAIN!

The parking here was free, so that was a great start. We stood in line to purchase our tickets, but before we did that, they guided us in a room to take a photo. They handed us a card with a code on it to scan after we completed the attraction to see our photo. After that, we purchased our tickets, which was basically in the room over. The tickets were $25 each for General Admission and those are the ones we bought. We stood in line and while we did so, some characters interacted with us. One had extreme energy and Giggles was his name, or so it said so on his back. He interacted the whole time of our visit with the huge line of people. Our wait was about 45 minutes, so it wasn't horrible. They formed groups of six to walk through the attraction. This attraction was really all over the place! There were a lot of actors throughout and they were able to touch us here. I liked that element and I really felt it made things more interactive. They had a really long, swirly tunnel and even inflatable devices that are sure to make you panic. If you're prone to nausea or claustrophobic in any aspect, this may not be the place for you. You end up going down steps early in the attraction. It seems I was in a basement for the majority of the time. I liked the feel to that. The length was probably around 30 minutes, but I wasn't on my phone to time it. The actors, for the most part, appeared to be very young. They did have great acting chops and even seemed to have years of experience. After you exit, they show you your photo and offer it for $10.00. They told us we can purchase it online with the code on the card, which I did on 10/14/22, so the code was active for quite some time after my visit, just to let you know that you don't need to rush and purchase it. Overall, the price definitely matches the quality here. It was a lengthy attraction, so I feel I got my money's worth. I recommend this attraction for all lovers of horror! Date of visit: 10/08/22

The site is a working farm depicting 1920s farm life, complete with two homes that were built from kits the original owners ordered from the Sears, Roebuck & Co. catalog. We had a quick visit because it was a cold, rainy March day, but the animals were a particular highlight. The farm houses were neat, but I think we would have enjoyed them more if we'd visited when there were historic interpreters to discuss the buildings and their contents. I love that all their animals are rescued and rehomed, and they emphasize that mission while still using age-appropriate language. I also appreciate that I know that none of the animals (in particular, the cows and chickens) are going to be dinner for anyone. I recommend following their social media. They tend to give announcements about events, as well as generally let you know what's going on with the animals at the farm.

I am always up for an adventure, and this one was no exception. If you like stepping back in time, then you need to come check out the Feast of the Hunters Moon, a reenactment of a mid-1700s trading post. With a reenactment comes reenactors. There are hundreds of them, dressed in traditional garb, armed with artillery, hanging out in their traditional tents, huddled around the fire. It's quite the sight to see. These reenactors lead a variety of events, from traditional dances to church ceremonies for a few denominations. Vendors also set up shop, selling everything from furry frontier hats to fine china to swords to mini telescopes. Best of all, there's BUD'S ROOT BEER (the best of the best) and FOOD: apple dumplings, fried dough, pork chops, stews/soups, sausages, breads. Most of it is pretty tasty, so bring cash and your appetite for sure! This event is definitely family-friendly and a nod to our Indiana history. Mark your calendars to experience this for sure!
