Over charged nearly £200+VAT, only use if you want to be robbed…read more These guys came out to fix a backed up bathroom, got in contact via an emergency plumber agency. While they were very nice, polite, prompt and fixed the issue. I was overcharged over £200 because they doubled the call out fee, I was told 'one for the agency and another charge for their call out fee'. If they have ever told you this it's a lie, the call out fee is agreed before they come out. Dave charged nearly £600 for 20mins of work when the fee should have been around £360. When questioned after payment, we were told on the phone that 'over seas company's are stealing business' and that was they had to overcharge. So instead they steal money from customers? If you don't like the agency- don't work for them. I was repeatedly told 'I should have called them direct, it would have been cheaper'. I called many plumbers because it's Christmas and no one could come out. checked my phone records, turns out I had called them direct and they told me they couldn't come out. Dave is a man who will happily stare a young woman in the face and take an extra £200 for himself. The money was returned only after we had contacted trading standards and put in a visa dispute with the bank to hold the payment. He apparently called the agency to 'check the tapes' of what was agreed. Even though my partner spoke to HIM and the agency on the phone before he came out regarding the call out fee- where he tried to double the price originally. The ease in which he argued this makes me believe he does this all the time. Don't worry Dave, I didn't tell the agency you slipped me your card at the end for future jobs- like you asked. Merry Christmas.

On the morning of Monday 25th June 2018, I noticed that the pipe connecting my loo to the downpipe…read morehad sprung a leak and needed fixing quickly as it is the only loo in the house. I phoned DW plumbing to do the work, having seen their card in the foyer of Pyramids swimming pool that morning. Within half-an-hour, the plumber was on-site and within another half hour the faulty piece of piping had been replaced. This is excellent service, and I would recommend them to anyone. As in another review, we gave a deposit of £2000 for works which they then delayed and then doubled…read morethe quote for. They then refused to give us our deposit back despite numerous emails, phone calls, letters. They even sent the same round robin email another review mentioned asking if we wanted our deposit back to which we immediate responded with 'yes'. Still heard nothing. If it wasn't for the small claims court losing our initial claim (which we are still pursuing) then they'd have received court action by now. We will continue to take legal action. Avoid at all costs!

Having wasted two months on this shambolic 'company' I am reluctant to waste more time on them…read morehowever I feel it is my duty to post a brief review of their work and my experience because I would hate to think others could be duped into employing them. Quite simply a two week job which was essentially a bathroom rip out and install where all product was sourced for them took two months to reach 60% completion. It would have continued for a minimum of two more weeks if i  had not pulled the plug and cancelled their employment. Having been polite, supportive and having done all I could to help them complete the work (which included labouring on the job myself) I simply could not listen to their lies, excuses and poor workmanship any longer. A snap shot of my experience is as follows: - Constant requests for interim payments even when work had not progressed and the team had barely moved the job forwards. - Poor workmanship and unqualified staff. - No respect for my house where they left piles of rubbish in my front garden for well over a month and a half (I had to pay another company to remove the waste!) - Damaging the products that had been installed. - No project management where they leave their subcontracted staff to complete the works themselves where they are not qualified to do so. - Constantly defending their poor performance and zero customer service or responsibility for their awful work. Quite simply, DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY, AWFUL, AWFUL AWFUL.
