It's a vibe!!! Needing an edgier, cool place that does the job?! My son desperately needed a hair cut and I wanted him to have a long, fun haircut, but not the poof in front like the other boys... finding a barber that understands my sons thick, multiple cow licks with a bit of edge, along with availability on the whim is extremely difficult in Hamilton County, but here we are! Roughly 10 stations, charging centers in the waiting station with their very cool vibe of black on black! Even if they didn't do a great job on his hair, I'd bring him back bc this spot gets it! Extremely disappointed in our experience here. I was told this was one of the best barbers in the area. We drove half an hour to get there. I showed pictures of what I wanted my sons hair to look like, and made it very clear I did not want any length cut off the top. They started cutting the top and I stopped him saying please don't touch the top. He insisted saying it was just going to be evened out. I once again stated I don't want it even on top, I wanted it messy. He continued to cut it and ignored me. Will not recommend this barber to anyone. They did fine on his fade, but it's disappointing that a clients request was COMPLETELY disregarded. Now my son's hair is ruined for family pictures. I will be learning to do his hair myself from now on. read more

The best barbershop that I've been into in a long time. The staff was great and welcoming even though I saw the last to walk in before closing. My hair was cut even better than I expected. My barber had recommendations for the best cut and it was great. Prices are good with the type of service you get while in the building. I highly recommend checking it out but plan on being there awhile due to the amount of people there getting a cut! read more

I gave this place a chance to earn my business. One of the main criteria for me is shaving the neck and around the ears. This place came up in a search. They have a shave listed in services offered. The young guy needed a bit of help in understanding what I was saying in English. The barber did seem to do a fair job, but the overall feeling was to hurry to get the next guy in the waiting area. Called to make an appointment and was told to just come in little to no wait and that I would be able to get in quickly. Drove 10 minutes to the shop. Upon arrival am told will be an hour and a half wait for a haircut. Extremely unprofessional and waste of time. Would not recommend this salon if you value your time. read more

Machos has been my to-go place for haircuts for the past 6-7 months. I usually went with the barber who's short and has glass (great barber by the way, sorry I forgot your name), but today i decided to try out another barber in that establishment. This Dominican looking guy was the person who cut my hair, his station is at the far left corner of the building. I asked for a mid-fade and a little off the top. At first it was going fine until he used a foil shaver for the fade leaving me the red skin marks at the back of the head. At this point i regretted making the choice to get attended by him. He also didn't know how to cut hair as he left the tips uneven and didn't really know where to cut. Charging $35 for a cut i expect it to be at least a good cut with little mistakes but this was far that limit for me in my opinion. read more

Let me tell you something man, if you ever walk into a place and I don't care if it's a restaurant, a grocery store, or barbershop. And they don't speak English. You are in the right place my friend, I have had three barbers do an outstanding job on my hair. I would recommend this to my grandmother if she still could get haircuts. I took my son to get a trim for his beautiful long curly hair that was in a sort of mullet. We asked for an inch off the top and back and a 3 on the sides above his ears. What he came out with looked like he had a pineapple on his head and a mohawk (my son's words). My son told me the barber looked up how to do a mullet and cut his hair that way rather than what we asked for. My son asked him to stop thinning the sides and cutting it shorter than the one inch off we asked for several times and the barber said no, this is how it needs to be. I am livid that he didn't respect my son's wishes. I have now spent money on another haircut from an excellent barber who fixed the mess Machos made of my son's hair. I will never go there again and recommend anyone who wants their specific wishes followed not to go to Machos. read more

precise and well worth the price. Joel did an amazing job, making sure to meet every one of my needs. i came in just expecting a fade and beard trim and got a 5 star treatment including hot towel and eye treatment. looking forward to my next visit! also the music is litty and the store itself is aesthetically pleasing. read more

Been here multiple times, everytime is over an hour wait, last visit was 1.5hr wait,(I called to set an appointment once and said they don't do appointments) got in the chair, poor fella didn't even know what an undercut was I knew I was doomed from there I should have got up and left. But after such a long wait I didn't care anymore I needed it cut. Wanted a nice short sides and back, and about an inch off the top, there was a language barrier, not sure if he was being trained but had to ask the barber next to us everything after I said anything, other barber had to explain an undercut to him. Ended up with a military high and tight super short on top.. needless to say I got the hair cut I was trying to avoid. usually had good hair cuts from here but not sure what happened. There was a big argument between a customer and another barber when I walked in as well. I had to have my girlfriend cut the left side to match the right side since it was about 2 inches longer. Got cleaned up today. This place is awesome! The setup is clearly designed for folks to be comfortable. Chico was amazing! Going in for a high fade down to skin, he took it serious! Besides the standard buzz, he attacked with a shaver and then finished with a straight razor. He then went to work on my beard and man, what a joyous occasion! I get this once a year and this is the best I've had. Not sure what was used, but it wasn't shaving cream or butter, hot towels, straight razors and mad skils! Very dissatisfying experience here, would not go there again that's for sure. Had a picture of the haircut we wanted and I turned completely different and not in a positive way. The haircut was badly done , way shorter and uneven. We were so upset we just wanted to leave and not have to pay.
