Okay, so I had to get my wisdom teeth out here because it was the place I got a referral to. I made…read morethe appointment, and they got me in super quick, like in two weeks. I made the decision ahead of time to get put under. I have bad anxiety and heard the sounds were awful. The dentist comes in and tells me he doesn't want me doing that. In fact he kept referring to a story of a 17 year old boy out east that died from being put under. He kept telling me he wanted to wake up. This was not helping my anxiety. I was bullied into staying awake for my extraction. I was actually happy it happened though. It saved me money and really wasn't THAT bad. Though it was loud, and did hurt a bit at times. Their billing was closed for the day, so I couldn't pay, but get this, I was supposed to have an upfront down payment. They never asked. Two weeks later I went in for my free follow up, which was literally just swirling some mouthwash, and was on my way out when I thought to ask billing what was up with my bill. They were confused as they looked at my file until I said they hadn't charged me. So I paid finally and left.

I was Very dissapointed with this Advanced Dental business, because they did everything they could…read morethink of, to over-charge me, although I had no work done at all. No work was done on my mouth. They never took an xray, or anything. I was charged because I canceled the appt. with them and then, I was given another charge, which I did pay both to get them out of my life. I liked the personality of the doctor, but the people who handles the business side, is just fishing for money. I would never go back for that reason. And I just got a text today, which is months later asking for more money, and I spoke to my insurance today to find that they sent in other claims. Unreal!!!

She could get five stars if it were just for her patient skills, give her a raise! *I like the doctor as a whole. *The finance lady was an absolute nightmare, she was cruel, cold, and abusive. She talked over me, had a constant condescending tone, wouldn't let me finish a thought or question and kept repeating herself even yelling at me and literally forcing me to yell back to even be listened to and get a response which was not answering a question but saying she would get the answer, leaving the room, and not then just coming back.

That one-hour drive has been 100% worth it ever since! They've handled several complex dental issues for me that other dentists struggled with--especially when it came to achieving outstanding cosmetic results. The work is always precise, natural-looking, and done with genuine care for both function and appearance. I've never felt rushed or like just another patient; they truly listen and tailor everything to what works best for me. The entire team is exceptional. Dr. Rosen is incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, and has a calm, reassuring manner that puts you at ease. Amanda and Jeanie are absolute standouts--warm, attentive, and so good at what they do. The front office staff is equally friendly and efficient; they make scheduling and check-ins a breeze. Despite the distance, I'll keep coming back because Wauwatosa Dental Arts simply offers the best dental experience out there. If you're looking for top-tier care, especially for cosmetic or challenging cases, this is the place. Highly recommend--5 stars aren't enough! Wish I'd read the reviews before booking online…read more I showed up promptly for my appointment right on time, using vacation time to do so. I received an email from the company stating that my appointment was confirmed and that I would receive scheduled service at noon today. It's noon. There's nobody at the office and the door is locked. A couple other patients with appointments also encountered the locked door. Confirming an appointment and then not being open at the confirmed time without contacting the patient to let them know is unforgivable. A company that cannot get the basics right certainly cannot be trusted to get the sophisticated work of dental care right. I recommend saving yourself time and frustration. Their web site is also offline (see photo); this feels more like a fly by night operation and I think I dodged a bullet after reading the reviews. Edit: I just received ANOTHER email from their scheduling system saying they'll see me *next* Friday at noon. Oh no you won't.

First thing I'd like to say is I wish I had followed the advice of those that gave honest one star…read morereviews and chose a different dentist. On a scale of 1-10 I rate them a "0". I booked an emergency appointment due to being in severe pain. I waited 45minutes after arrival to be seen. Unknown to me I had to do a "new patient" exam and my pain and concern wouldn't be resolved at my emergency appointment. A complete waste of time. The office feels like the 1980's & lacks the presence of modern sanitation precautions. For example, the x-ray cover up that they lay on you was filthy and worn out and the exam room was dirty and the chair didn't have any type of plastic on it. In every room I felt like I came behind the next persons germs. Also the office was very dim the exam room was dim and no extra light was used during my physical exam with the doctor. It took 30 min just for x-rays because the initial assistant assigned to me was so inexperienced she didn't know how to place the plates in my mouth and acted like she was scared to touch ppl so another assistant had to take over. That second assistant entered the room without even speaking and carried a nice nasty attitude throughout my visit as if she was irritated. Dr. Bautista is very inexperienced, lacks beside manners, empathy, and the skill set to address all dentistry issues with the best possible care. Instead of focusing on resolving my pain - once she confirmed the source was a root canal she focused on a cleaning instead of focusing on at least repairing my filing on the opposite side so that I can not have pain on that side. She is concerned about making the max dollar off every patient. She insisted on doing a full cleaning before my root canal & fillings instead of just doing a localized cleaning of the area that needed the work and scheduling a cleaning for after the holes in my teeth were sealed. Crazy thing about it she wasn't even doing the work to fix my issue but wanted to put me in more pain with a cleaning on a mouth with the nerve exposed. Shame on her! After I refused she got angry and rude. Made a scene tellling her staff she'd make an exception to only provide services that I need but I'm the only patient she's doing that for. Told them to add a localized cleaning instead of a full one. It was at that moment I fully lost trust in the doctor & in Aspens ability to service my needs. I put my coat on and got up outta there while the assistant was typing on the computer like Madea in Diary of a Mad Black Woman. This place was the worst dental office experience I've ever had. They need to know that attitude matters, it's not always what you say but rather how you say it, when ppl are in pain the worst thing you can do is leave the pain unaddressed &/or to cause more pain, and lastly an emergency dentist visit is just that and patients should leave with the emergency resolve just the same as going to the perfect room at a hospital! An emergency visit is not for a comprehensive exam but to address the tooth or teeth that's cause pain & to FIX IT! If patients want an exam they'll book it. Shame on y'all for being so piss poor! All the negative reviews that you see about this place - BELIEVE IT & use your imagination to add the rest.

After being told that a root canal wasn't the answer, my dentist recommended Dr Walloch at Milwaukee Oral Surgery in Menomonee Falls. I have high dental surgery anxiety, so I was fearful of getting the extraction. When I arrived at the office, the receptionist, Janet, was very professional, and then my tech, Karen, and Dr Walloch, very quickly, had me prepped and assured me that the process would go quickly. After the extraction, they provided me with post op supplies and great instructions for post op care. Following their instructions, the bleeding stopped after about 4 hours, and I have not even taken any pain relief for the surgery. This was about as great an experience that I ever could have expected. Thank you Dr Walloch and team at Milwaukee Oral Surgery in Menomonee Falls.

I was fortunate to be able to see my primary dentist the following Monday. It was felt that a root canal would be needed, and I luckily was able to see a specialist that morning due to a cancellation. Unfortunately, the specialist terminated the procedure due to the extent of hidden decay present, and I was referred to Milwaukee Oral Surgery and Implants to have the tooth removed after a course of antibiotics to treat the infection. The entire staff at Milwaukee was courteous, diligent, and helpful with scheduling, follow-up reminders, and communication. Dr. Wallock exceeded my expectations. The extraction was difficult given the condition of the tooth (partially removed, infected, and decayed).I was concerned about the healing period given the infection and pain endured to that point. Dr. Wallock prescribed adequate pain medication and called me the following morning to see how I was feeling. He also gave me his personal cell number to call if there was a need. That in itself is unheard of in the medical profession (at least in my experience). After a few days, my pain was not decreasing, and I was concerned. I called, left a VM, and spoke with Dr. Wallock within an hour. He agreed that I might still have a lingering infection and prescribed an additional course of antibiotics. Within two days, the majority of my pain and discomfort began to diminish. Dr. Walloch helped get me past a difficult two weeks so that I could enjoy a scheduled vacation 10 days after the removal. This is the level of care one should expect to receive when dealing with a significant health issue. I highly recommend Dr. Walloch and the clinic collectively.
