I appreciate both his experience and his concern for my comfort. A day before my appointment, the receptionist texts me a reminder, which is helpful to those of us who are forgetful! I generally only leave a review when I feel very strongly, and I'm either very unhappy or I'm very pleased. Dr. Post was strongly recommended to me, and I adamantly recommend him for anyone looking for a dentist or family dentist. As for Dr. Post, personally, I couldn't say it better than Hans D. did in his review. Super nice, down to earth, genuine guy. At the risk of being told that I'm odd, I enjoy going to this dentist!

I don't know if it's because he has larger hands or what, but every time I get my teeth cleaned, they hurt afterwards!! He doesn't have a dental hygienist who cleans your teeth, he's a do-it-himself kind of guy...with that said, this place is soooo outdated. Making an appointment with him is as difficult as trying to get his staff to submit your dental services to insurance company correctly. (Sometimes the "forget") The past couple of years, we've had many issues with incorrect billing and it's probably because he has a high turn around rate with his staff. The blonde receptionist that quit was as rude as can be every time you engaged with her. The last time I was getting my teeth cleaned, I was getting my teeth polished and the Asian dental hygienist pictured in the yelp profile was talking shit about my mom, TO ME. Needless to say, I never returned after that. I found my entire family a new dentist and we are very happy. He lost an EXCELLENT dental hygienist, sadly I can't remember her name but she was beautiful and understanding (black hair, second picture with multi colored top on to the left of Dr. Post)

I finally worked up the courage to make an appointment as a new patient and chose Elmbrook Family…read moreDental. Due to my own negligence, I knew I needed a tooth pulled eventually. Dr. Plecas heard I was standing in a wedding the following week and nervous about swelling. He called their other locations to see if anyone could assist Monday but then instead made time same day in between patients to get the tooth pulled. So beyond grateful to everyone who helped get this done today. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, I truly am amazed they made it work for me.

I had been seeing Dr. Brunner for about 13 years for general dentistry. Since his TMJ training, my…read moregeneral dentistry appointments have been awful. It's a hard sell for TMJ services with every appointment. Cost for TMJ services: Assessment $650 and treatment $5400-6500 (services weren't clarified) with payment required upfront. He says he uses a third-party to maximize insurance payout and after that is received, he would refund anything that insurance covers. When I asked what patients do when they can't afford this treatment, he became defensive and explained that he couldn't provide services for free (which I wouldn't expect). I found a local (TMJ & Orofacial Pain Treatment Center) doctor who is excellent, fitted me with a night guard for under $200, and that has very clear patient costs for services after insurance, and charges much less overall.

That one-hour drive has been 100% worth it ever since! They've handled several complex dental issues for me that other dentists struggled with--especially when it came to achieving outstanding cosmetic results. The work is always precise, natural-looking, and done with genuine care for both function and appearance. I've never felt rushed or like just another patient; they truly listen and tailor everything to what works best for me. The entire team is exceptional. Dr. Rosen is incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, and has a calm, reassuring manner that puts you at ease. Amanda and Jeanie are absolute standouts--warm, attentive, and so good at what they do. The front office staff is equally friendly and efficient; they make scheduling and check-ins a breeze. Despite the distance, I'll keep coming back because Wauwatosa Dental Arts simply offers the best dental experience out there. If you're looking for top-tier care, especially for cosmetic or challenging cases, this is the place. Highly recommend--5 stars aren't enough! We've been living in Milwaukee for going on 8 years now. We thought we had found our go-to dentist…read morebut over time we'd decided maybe not. After doing some research on Yelp and beyond, we decided to give Elmbrook General Dentistry a try. I'm so glad we did! I was the first to go and had such a positive experience. My dentist and hygienist are both incredibly caring and kind. Everyone, from the folks at the front desk to the hygienists to the dentists themselves work to make this a warm and welcoming environment. Since then, my husband, son, and both my parents have begun coming here. And, all with the same rave reports. Between us all, we've seen three different dentists and we've all been incredibly pleased with the care we've received. They also have an in house periodontist, which is helpful if the need should arise (rather than having to navigate going to an entirely different office). I've met him and he's incredibly warm and kind as well. Zero complaints with our experience here and would recommend without reservation.

I then tried another dentist (name rhymes with floss) and was extremely dissatisfied! I finally ended up at Elmbrook and have been amazed by the experience. Where as the last dentist was in a hurry to get you in and out as fast as possible, I did not in any way feel rushed at Elmbrook. Quite the contrary. Everyone that worked on my teeth were pleasant, caring and professional. My hygienist Carrie did a wonderful job getting my teeth back in proper shape after the inadequate cleanings at the past two dentist had resulted in significant tartar buildup. Dr Plecas and his assistant Rachael did an excellent job on filing two cavities and installing a crown. The amount of time spent on just color matching the crown, for a tooth in the back of my mouth, stood in stark contrast to my experience at the previous dentist. Literally everyone at Elmbrook including the receptionists strive to make your experience as pleasant as possible. I strongly recommend Elmbrook to anyone looking for a dentist. Even if you are satisfied with your current dental care, I believe that the level of service and technology at Elmbrook is worth making the change.
