    Focaccia, Butter, and Fried Onions
    Saremy S.

Arrived here a quarter till closing. That should have been the sign to turn around and leave. Ordered the Aperol Betty, roasted tomato soup, di fungi handmade pasta, and aranchi Nero. I have to say, the best thing I ate here was the focaccia bread with butter and fried onions. The fried onions were a nice touch; salty but good. The Aperol was light and fruity. Tomatoes soup tastes like Panera Bread version. If you know you know. It's sweet like canned tomatoes and the cheese sandwich it was paired with was awful. The focaccia was 100x better. The di fungi pasta was bland. It had no mushroom flavor; just slightly salty broth and dried red peppers. Aranchi Nero was salty. Just tasted like salty fried fishy risotto finished off with grated Parmesan. Food was underwhelming and prices were much too inflated. Also didn't like they you could strongly smell cigarette smoke from being seated deep inside. Service was horrendous. I get it; it's late. But to rush us out like they did, just wow. We ordered and ate all in the span of 20mins. Clearly not enough time.

    Spinach and cheez ravioli

This place is a surprise. We came in by chance only, and we end up having a very good lunch. This place serves Italian food. And it's very popular with the locals (so be ready to wait in line if you do not call ahead of time). The service include table with artisanal bread, butter and deep fried onions. The service is fast and the two captains very attentive to your needs and petitions. The artichoke dip was creamy but had more spinach's than artichokes. The pizza is thin, crispy and certainty very flavorful. However, it can use more cheese. The pasta is cooked and served at the moment. Very fresh and have a very good selection of pasta styles, sauces and proteins. Although what we order was very tasty, the presentation was a little sloppy, with sauce all over the plate. Is understandable because is a very busy place, but is the reason of what I cannot give 4 stars. Finally the French dip was too thin. The roasted beef was tender and juicy. But that's it. Not enough cheese, or other ingredients. We skipped desert.

Signature cheese wheel pasta w truffle oil. A must
    Casie N.

The best pasta wheel ever! The fig pizza here is also delicious. The truffle oil that is added to their signature pasta that's rolled in a cheese wheel is my favorite thing. The bread that they give you is also super crispy and the butter is flavorful!

Fettuccine pomodoro (sin sabor) w/ ribe eye (completely unseasoned).

The food quality is not a lording the price (that is not expensive but it's not consistent) Photos looks better then they can offer. * i just try the fettuccine, but will not go back to try other options.

    Delicious papardelle with rib Ragu!
    Maor R.

Homemade pasta. The papardelle with homemade rage is just outstanding. The minestrone uses an onion broth and is truly excellent and full of fresh veggies. The tomato soup is excellent as well, served with grilled cheese. Our house salad, normally an afterthought in so many restaurants, had an excellent homemade oregano vinaigrette and was not only huge, but as so fresh and flavorful and came with avocado and an excellent teen leaf lettuce. This is a restaurant that clearly prioritizes quality ingredients and knows how to cook! Highly recommended to get your Italian fix in Mexico City.

    Rose wine, bread, and butter

The bread and butter are amazing! The frito mixto was pretty good. (Not pictured) The pasta alla ruota was delicious!! However, we weren't crazy about the margherita pizza. I love tomato but the giant chunks of tomato were a bit excessive. The mozzarella cheese and crust were good though.

Omg! Just happened to run into this beautiful place! Great food and prices! The bread & butter was fresh and yummy! Great change of pace from Mexican food, the pizza was delicious and fresh, it was better than Grimaldis in NY, the pasta was so rich and yummy! Best American coffee on my trip

Lasagna, papardelle, and chicken Parmesan with a side of papas a la frances
    Brisa A.

Visited this restaurant during covid. Service was exceptional, both receptionist and server were very attentive. The ambiance was intimate and romantic at the same time. Our pastas were delicious. The only thing was we were there after 6pm which apparently they don't serve alcohol after 6 pm which was a bummer since it would have been nice to pair the pastas with a nice wine. Oh well... I'm glad I still enjoyed the food and service.

The salad was small, as it should have been as it was a side salad, but the chicken parm needed noodles.

The place has a complete large full bar very modern and yet trendy, great for drinks, dinner and nice music. We were offered one of their signature drinks made with Mezcal cucumber and pineapple juices with a garnish made of crushed pancetta, salt and chili a must try! As an appetizer we were offered wooden tray of shaved prosciutto and bread, very delightful !! we also ordered eggplant with provolone cheese, it was very good and baby octopus on top of a oven roasted potatoes this is to die for. Enough for the night. Great service by our waiter who you can tell that was well trained and no how to describe the food that was served. To top it off we ordered a a couple of desserts, Tiramisu a must try and a mousse made with goat cheese with guava purée and hibiscus exceptional !! For digestion we had their signature limoncello!!! the best way to finish our unique dinner! My friends and I spent 10 days in CDMX, and this ended up being our least favorite meal of the trip. None of the dishes were bad, but it really wasn't anything to write home about either. There wasn't a single item that felt memorable or worth going back for. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a solid 6.5. Not flashy for the sake of it, just really thoughtful cooking where the ingredients actually get to speak. The seasoning was dialed in across the board, which is usually where places like this can miss, but they didn't. Everything tasted clean, balanced, and precise. Technique was clearly there, but never forced. Nothing felt overworked or trying too hard to impress. It's the kind of meal where you realize halfway through that you're just enjoying everything without overanalyzing it. Wine list deserves a callout too. Really well curated, with options that pair naturally with the food instead of overpowering it. This is one of those spots that doesn't try to wow you with intensity. It wins you over with restraint and execution. And when it's done this well, that's more impressive. Would absolutely go back.
