I'm so happy I found this company. I was using Ace Pest Control for our seasonal bug, termite and brown recluse control. I didn't feel Ace was doing a good job but we paid them for years. Then we had a mouse get into the house and Ace was booked for a couple weeks and they were going to charge extra. MacDougall came out the next day and set traps for the mouse. They came back and treated my house for brown recluse and bugs inside and outside of the house. They did a masterful job of removing all the bugs and webs near our doors and windows. Steve is very knowledgeable, and it's clear that he's passionate about his job and cares for his clients. My husband and I just moved to Franklin a few weeks ago, and our home was vacant for about a month prior to our arrival, and so many insects and pests moved in before we came. Steve provided a full service to the entire property, and he thoroughly explained everything he was doing. I appreciate his honesty, and he never tried to sell me anything I didn't truly need. After the initial service, we continued to see a couple of pests pop up around the home (which we expected due to how many we found when we first moved in), but Steve had no problem coming back to our house to provide an additional service to make sure we didn't have any more issues. A salesman from one of the big names feared us as new homeowners into a huge expense after seeing 3 spiders, and with kids we were concerned. After he left I called MacDougall and was instantly greeted by the owner and practitioner himself, Steve. He was knowledgeable, practical and a real person concerned with remedying our situation without all the sales voodoo. The very next day he was at our house, spent adequate time accessing the situation, and provided a sensible approach to put our family at ease, at a much more reasonable expense.
