There are certainly better motels out there than this one, but when it is the only thing in the area, it will just have to do.
The rooms were clean, and it is drive up service to your rooms. The amenities are relatively short-listed, with cable/satellite television ranking up there at number one on the list. No wi-fi service. There is a small general store down the road a bit, but the stockings are somewhat limited. There is also a restaurant in the same area. There is no continental breakfast in the morning, so when it comes to food you are definitely fending for yourself.
However, it should be noted that this place is located in a very remote area, and there really isn't much else out there.
While we were there, the only other occupants appeared to be road workers that were probably staying on a weekly rate while they were performing road work on the Cabot Trail.
I gave it two stars because, while the amenities are basically non-existent, and once you are in your room that is about it for the night, the room was clean and sufficient. Just don't expect any luxuries.
